I notice the jars are only 3/4 full. Has that been anyone else's experience?

I have bought these in various stores and have found they are never full to the top. They are fulled up to the bottom of the top rim which would look like its 3/4 full.

why has this product gone way up in price. last time I bought it was $11.00

Why should it be any different from any other product?
