OMG!! After spending hundreds of dollars on snail bait, and many nights in my bathrobe, in the dark, with a flashlight and salt shaker, I finally found something that really works! You just dig a nice little hole and sink the little cup down so maybe a half inch or so is out of the ground. Pour in some cheap beer and snap on the lid and BOOM!! The next morning the little cup is magically full of dead slugs! One reviewer said the lid has to balance on the top, but that is not true, the lid slides neatly down inside and stops so that just the right amount of space is open for the slugs. I also found you don’t have to empty them every day. The slugs just seem to pile in on top of each other and drown. I would recommend however, tossing the dead slugs far away from the cup otherwise they will just be attracted to the stuff on the ground. Happy gardening 🌱 (The attached photo is after one day! 🤮)

I was skeptical at first. But within a day after putting beer in these containers I was seeing slugs in the beer and all dead.

These were quite large to add a good amount of slug bait. The top of the hut pops on and off. I mainly got these bc 1. I have a slug & snail problem 2. I tried adding slug bait in little yogurt containers/tins (no lid) and my dog found them one day SO I immediately research for special containers with a lid. The only issue I have is that the snails in my yard are HUGE. Like their shell is not getting into the open space in between where the roof and the side's are. You can’t raise it any higher without the top popping off easily. This is tough when the bugs crawl up it and knocking the top off and or if my dog came around and gave it a slight nudge of his nose which could move the top off and he would eat the poison. The top also helps with rain water not getting into the poison so the roof is needed for that reason. I just had to put them in fenced out areas, raised areas, just any where that my dog can’t even be next to it.

These silly little things will make a substantial dent in your slug problems. You can use a full beer or yeast and sugar. Clean often. Daily is best as the slugs ripen quickly. There may be a cheaper solution than these. They go in fast, load cheap, kill lots of slugs, clean up, fit back into their holes, shed rain and dust, and don't poison your other garden invertebrates. I bought more.

We had a plague of slugs, and these seemed like a good solution - you dig a hole for the bucket part, and once it's placed, you add bait (we used cheap beer, which is like the nectar of the gods for slugs.) and place the top on. It would be nice if the tops actually snapped onto the buckets in some way - they just rest on the bucket part with little pegs to keep them raised enough to allow slugs to get in. Because they're just perched there, I kept knocking them off while watering the garden, working on plants nearby, or by breathing in the vicinity. It was frustrating. Frustration aside, these WORK. The morning after, there was an impressively disgusting amount of slugs drowned in each. I may use some thermoplastic to add a part that sticks up so I don't have to dig them out of the garden to empty them. It can get messy. All in all, these really do work. Maybe not the most convenient, but quite effective.

These work great. Keeps rain from diluting beer. Can pull slug and reuse beer. No need to bury. Slugs climb to get whatever they want. They climb plants, walls, whatever. A word of caution though. Don't use so many you have neighborhood slugs crashing the party. You want to eliminate yours without inviting others.

This was a waste of money, time and beer. Save your money. I’m actually embarrassed I thought this would work. It’s flimsy and did absolutely nothing. Maybe my slugs went to AA. Save you money

For my situation the beer in the box didn’t work. Boxes are okay, but I don’t know what else you would do with them.

Excellent product. The traps work, we have added beer to them and our population of snails and slugs in the garden are well down in numbers now.

Cumplen su función perfectamente. Las babosas y caracoles caen dentro llenándolas con un par de dedos de agua o de cerveza barata.Mejor con esta última.

If you have slugs buy beer and use these. The beer is for the slugs.

Arrivate disposte a circa 3 metri intorno alla patio e il giorno dopo ho fatto man bassa di limace, con gran dispiacere ho dovuto sprecare mezzo litro di birra ma il risultato è stato stupefacente le 5 trappole erano piene fino all'orlo. Penso di aver cattura to più di 50 limace. Diciamo che la trappola è pressochè elementare e basterebbe qualche barattolo di vetro con della birra, però il problema che le limace arrivano in quantità specialmente quando piove e a meno di non fabbricare dei coperchi distanziati come quelli del prodotto in questione la pioggia diluirebbe la biirra rendendo inefficace la trappola. Per quel che mi riguarda 25 euro ben spesi. Prima nella paltea ero invaso di lumache adesso nenache una. Consigliatissimo!!

Erfüllt absolut seinen Zweck. Fülle es ca. alle 2 Tage neu mit Bier und habe 5 verschiedene Plätze über das Grundstück verteilt. Kann man sich sicherlich auch selber bauen, aber so echt praktisch.
