Windows server 2019でのNICを探していました
オンボードのI219-VがWindows server 2019で使えなかったので使えるNICを探していてこのNICを購入しました。 検証機にこのNICを取り付け、Windows server 2019をクリーンインストールしましたが、ドライバのインストールなしで認識しました。 耐久性や安定性はわかりませんが、ひとまず認識して使える状態になりました。

In the highlights. This product states it is capable of 8,000+ mbps data transfer speed. It caps out at around 950-970. If you have a multigig network speed. This is NOT the ethernet port you want.

Easy to install, ready to use
My only RJ45 port on my computer died, forcing me to buy this hardware as I only use WIRED connection to the internet (Not WiFi). This hardware connected with no problems to my one of the PCIe ports. It reaches steadily 325 Mbps without any problems. I don't have a 1 Gbps connection but I'm planning now to get it now, although 300+ Mbps is enough to browse the internet, see videos, etc.

sehr gute Netzwerkkarte, als Ersatz wenn on Board-Lan streikt
Da bei meinem 5 Jahre alten Rechner DELL Studio XPS 8100 nach der Windows 10 Installation die Netzwerkanbindung streikte (Internet brach bei schnellem Download und Videos immer ab), suchte ich eine geeignete Netzwerkkarte. Ich entschied mich für dieses Teil aus zwei Gründen: - Es handelt sich um eine aktuelle Netzwerkkarte und kein älteres Modell (wichtig für Sicherheit, dass diese bei Windows 10 funktioniert) - Die Höhe der Karte ist gering, so dass der Lüfter der Grafikkarte nicht verdeckt wird. Der Karte liegt der Einbauwinkel für die normale Höhe bei, Austausch mit dem Low-Profile-Winkel ist kein Problem Der Rechner muss PCI-Express-Steckplatz haben. Die Karte gibt's aber auch für den normalen (älteren) PCI-Steckplatz. Das Einbauen der Karte war kein Problem, alles passte exakt. (Bei der Gelegenheit war gleich ne Rechnerreinigung incl. Entstauben des Graka- und Prozessorlüfters + neue Wärmeleitpaste dran). Nach dem Einschalten habe ich zunächst im BIOS die On Board Lan-Funktion deaktiviert. Dann Start des Betriebssystemes - Windows 10. Die Karte war sofort in Funktion, ich musste keinen extra Treiber installieren, alles funktionierte perfekt von der ersten Sekunde an. Kontrolle im Gerätemanager: Karte erkannt, richtiger Treiber vorhanden. Internet läuft sehr flüssig, kein Ruckeln oder Abriss bei Videostreams mehr. Auf Grund meiner guten Erfahrungen empfehle ich dieses Teil sehr gern weiter.
