The description says it can boost 5.0v to 12v and that's a load of crap. Of course I didn't read on to the next line of their description that says they highly recommend not using any fans over 5.0v -12v. What is even the point of describing that it has a power booster microchip if it doesn't even work. I plugged the USB into a 5.0v power block and the fan kept turning on turning off, just exactly how it was when I spliced the wires into a 5.0v adapter. Granted, yes my fans are 12v fans but that's the whole reason why I order this misleading piece of junk. The information is misleading, it will boost anymore power than what you already have at the outlet the USB end is connected to. That's with 1 fan, I can only imagine with 3. Again I say, false advertisement! Will not boost any extra power.
