8-LED IR Illuminator,Wide Angle Flood Light for Security Cam&VRS w/Adapter

This light supplements my Security camera lights very well. It is extremely bright...almost turns night into day. My existing cameras have a very focused infrared light. My cams' have a wide angled lens so by day they are just right but at night the outside corners are dark. One great thing about this light is that I can install it anywhere and not simply next the my camera. The red light coming from this is not as bright as what comes from my cameras. Personally, I think a criminal who is trying to disable my cameras would get confused by the red lights and not know which is what. It is constructed very well, similar to construction halogen shop lights (I'm an old school contractor). I have put this one outside without worry of rain. I will buy more, these are beasts. When I get a chance I will post before/afters....

Unless you have a huge room, use this outdoors as this really covers a huge area. I tested it in my basement and it’s too powerful for indoors but it did light up the entire basement to the point of washout. So it’s meant for the outdoors to “flood” a large area with ir light. It will work perfect for my needs, lighting up the entire back yard area. Once I get it mounted, I may put up more to surround the house to increase the each cameras range at night. Good value overall and am very pleased with the coverage.

Nice and bright, not well made, time will tell how long it last

I installed two on Aug, 2018. It works as expected. The adapter included is 12V/1A. I will update if something happens. Update) One died on Aug 2019 and the other did on Sep 2019. It flickered and couldn't be used anymore. I contacted the seller. The answer was not fast but they sent two of replacements. It works again. I will update when something happen again.

I used this to play VR (Meta Quest 3) in low light. It works perfectly shined on the wall in front. It even works with all lights off.

Puts out a lot of illumination, nicely lights up a large area to complement our security camera. It appears to be well made, even with the little things such as the locking nut washers connecting the bracket, and the heavy duty drywall anchors and screws included. Since it is installed inside I can't say how it will stand up to the weather, but the design looks like it would do well outdoors. I plan to buy another one from this company. (Great customer support too.)

Mounted one on the front of a truck and one on an ATV. Works extremely well with true night vision goggles (the expensive tube ones) and I would assume would work very well with the digital type. Don't mount on the top/roof as it will illuminate the front/hood of the vehicle which you don't want. A simple rocker switch was mounted in the dash for on/off. Didn't use a relay as I don't feel it draws enough current to require one. Nice feature too is it has a light sensor underneath which turns off the light during daylight hours. Handy if you forget to turn it off (very easy to do) so it doesn't stay on all day. Because of the chance in leaving it on you might want to consider a rocker switch with LED so you know when it's on.

It's going to get returned! Not as advertised and half of the LEDs aren't working. Why can't sellers ship what is shown and what they advertise! Extremely frustrating to get something different that what you ordered and even worse when it is defective! Now the return hassle begins.

Bought for the garden because the amount of solar lights I had flashing in the garden was affecting my two hedgehog cameras, worked a treat, switched the cameras to night view and the picture was crystal clear.
