I have been buying these masks for about two years the quality is pretty good compared with other brands and the fit for individuals with a large face is very comfortable

I used to buy the orange version of this mask often during Covid. I liked them, they were thicker feeling and made me feel safe wearing them. I bought these hoping they would be the same, but they definitely are not. They feel like hard tissue paper and are thinner feeling. The description says that they come in a box, they do NOT! Just the Amazon shipping box but I called to ask if they would be in the product box and was assured that they would, they didn't. Being shipped in a plastic bag as they are, the corners bend over, and the masks fold in half or they roll up, and end up a mess. They also have a smell that they never did before and with them on your face for long you don't want them to smell like plastic or paint. I smelled my hands after handling them and they smelled like them too! I needed them NOW, and so I ordered them fast to be sure they came today so I could go see my mother who has Influenza type A and Pneumonia and is very sick, she is 91 so I don't need to have to start my search over again. They say they have the proper material in them for good protection, but they have cut corners. I have a smaller face, not petite just smaller and they don't fit well, not to big but more like to small and don't give good coverage. Maybe if someone had a rounder face to fill out the sides as they let air in, but that's not me. Be sure to check dates on mask packages because they expire due to the materials not just outer sides but the inner layers. Off to look for other ones and I know I will be forced to try ones that I am not sure I trust either. Large quantity for a small price may be a waste of money. there are a lot of things to consider when choosing ones that keep the germs out. Updating to add that I tried to wear these for an hour or so and couldn't figure out why they felt so different. They just can not be compared to the orange ones or what they used to be even though I am seeing pictures and comments of customers who still are experiencing what I did with those too, I found that they are not as described and do not have the "So Soft Ear Loops, and are painful in a short time. My ears felt hot and red. Don't have the so soft lining either. They don't feel like they have fiberglass in them like some do after wearing one, but the lining does not feel like a pillow inside either. It is thin and as I said feels like tissue paper layers. Tried again - I ordered two "bags" of the orange ones because I read the reviews and saw the pictures good and bad, but I felt better trying these again then using the blue ones. I called to order them and told the Agent that the reviews are terrible with reports of shipping issues, and they told me to order 2 boxes and that would make sure that I got them in a box not a bubble wrap bag that could damage them in shipping. She was partially right. They came in a solid box but they did not come in a product box from Halyard but were in the plastic bags that are shown on the blue ones. The bags have a hole in them that I'm sure is designed to let air out keeping the bag from being inflated so they will lay flat. Guessing on that but I was assured again that they would come in a box not bags, and they did not! The all have come in plastic bags and that, I did not want!! The orange ones are bigger when opened out to don but are baggy which allows air to come in everywhere. I held my hands on each side of the mask and felt my warm breath coming out. My glasses fogged up somewhat too. they look bad and not like pictures that I saw. I actually went to see my sick mother, wearing the blue one that I first bought, and was very nervous about them not fitting well. The inside layer doesn't match the inside of the blue ones, the foam is different and they were scratchy . I called Halyard from the number on the bag and the person who answered the phone wouldn't give me information but wanted to have me call any of 3 sellers that I could buy them from. Enough said, good luck if you try them. The blue ones are made in China, and the Orange ones are a product of the US if they come directly from Halyard and further processed in Mexico. I can't recommend them.
