WellPatch Warming Pain Relief Heat Patch, 4 large patches, 5"x4" (13x10 cm) each

With some long-existing muscle and bone pains from old injuries, I have become a loyal user of this brand. It is like having a good spot-relief heating pad that you can wear. Of course, don't be foolish enough to wear it if you are moving around outside in the Summer, but it works pretty good for indoor uses, or while driving or flying (and forced to sit still). You aren't supposed to wear it at night due to a danger of skin burns, but I do anyway on my back or lower neck, allowing me to wake up without morning pain from stiffness. It says Mentholatum company, but the smelly product by that name isn't in the pad. No smell involved. It just provides just spot heat like various hand or foot warming products. A few of the reviewers have noted a concern for price, and I agree. This or comparable store brands from CVS or Walgreens are found in a very wide range of prices. At different times, Amazon had this as an add-on available from mid-4 dollar range to 5.99 for a package of 4.

I prefer this brand even though they are more expensive than some of the others. These can be applied directly to the skin without getting uncomfortably hot. I have tried other brands but some of them get too hot applied directly but if placed on top of clothing they fall off or the heat can't be felt. I am 70 years old and sometimes I get severe cramps in my legs and ankles at night. I have to get up and walk them out but then after that I apply one of these patches and the cramps are gone for the rest of the night. I only gave 4 stars because of the price.

These are lukewarm at best. Waited 15 minutes for the air activation to work, but very little heat. The adhesive is good, but pointless without heat. Wish I could return. Don't buy them expecting any real heat.

I was experiencing pain in the muscle of my right arm. I thought the heating pad would help. Well, it DID produce heat as advertised, but it didn't work for my muscle. It's probably better for backpain, or wherever heat is actually needed. It was worth a try. My arm still hurts for some unknown reason. I hope it's not bone cancer.

These air activated charcoal patches are awesome. They really do have 8 hours of heat in them and stick on pretty well. I have tried the Thermal Care patches, but find these stick better and have more charcoal to produce more long lasting heat. I always seem to be straining my knee, back or some other body part and I find that if I put one on at night, I am almost as good as new in the morning. I keep some in my desk at work and am always sharing them with an injured coworker who has never heard about these wonderful patches.

Have been ordering these drug-free heat patches for years from a supplier in the U.S. Am so glad to see that I can now order them in Canada through Amazon. Problem-free shipping and delivery. These patches really work for tight muscles and arthritic pain. Most of them last quite a bit longer than 8 hours. I recommend cleaning the skin with a bit of alcohol before applying the patch - really helps it to adhere better.
