Useless
Absolutely useless, don't bother. The internal storage is almost completely taken up by system apps before you've even installed basic essentials like WhatsApp or Facebook Lite. Out of the 16GB of storage, around 10GB is already used. While it's good that the phone has an SD card slot for additional storage, most system apps and many apps downloaded from the Google Play Store cannot be moved to the SD card. If TTfone increased the internal storage, I might consider buying one again. The TT280 is an okay phone overall, but it isn't without its problems. I was able to browse Google Chrome with relative ease, and the built-in speaker is good. However, I still preferred my Nokia 800 Tough. Unfortunately, KaiOS no longer supports WhatsApp, which is why I had to look for an alternative.

Wouldn't recommend
Wouldn't recommend, the small touchscreen above the keys is overly sensitive, I had numerous calls randomly hanging up or on a couple of occasions my ear managed to put the phone into aeroplane mode. Save your cash and buy something better than this.

best value phone available
Brilliant and quite unique phone Great quality at a ridiculous price. £70 against an android or iphone costing 20X this and only just inferior. Amazing customer service from people who care

Disappointing
Battery does not last even for one full day. Despite low usage, battery life is terrible. The phone is also very slow. Very Disappointed. Edit: phone has now stopped supporting WhatsApp. Contacted the support to resolve the issue but no success.

Limited budget smartphone
This is a basic smartphone that does the essentials and looks quite smart in a back to the noughties kinda way. Strangely it is currently cheaper with the dock or mains charger so check out the options before buying. I think the dock option would be useful for an older person. It feels quite nice in hand and the buttons are responsive enough if pressed in a deliberate way, you may have to retrain yourself after years of smartphonery. I have set this up for an elderly relative and she seems to be getting on with it ok. She more or less uses it as a home phone and for that it works just fine and doesn't need to concern herself about the difference between home and moby. As a smart phone it starts to show its limitations when pressed and the display isn’t great, ditto the camera but you get what you pay for and as a basic phone with occasional smart use such as email it does a job for the money. You get what you pay for.

Disappointed
Not a great option for anyone who wants a basic phone. This is supposed to be a simple to use phone with some elements of a smart phone but it’s actually not very user friendly. I’d recommend steering clear and choosing a basic branded model instead.

it has some advantages of smart phone
this is a 4g phone from the brand TTfone, model name TT280, dual sim. it looks like a feature phone, however it runs on android, so it's literally a smart phone, it has a touch screen, also a feature phone keypad; since it has a touch screen, physical navigation keys are reduced, besides power button and volume keys on the side, only home, back and select button above the keypad i like the design of the phone, look retro and really simple, buttons are quite small, but that's normal for feature phone with a big screen, the screen is bright and clear, but it's running android, so text are relatively small in app it has google play installed, however, the phone may not good for cpu and graphic intensive app, but instant messenger, google map or some lightweight browsing is ok there are many ways for text input, soft keyboard (that block almost full screen!), voice input as well as traditional multi-tap input i think cameras are only nice to have feature for this phone, can still take photo and video and share in instant messenger, however quality may not be good enough for social media sharing ordered it for my kid use, it's good transition phone that they can use whatsapp, but unlike other smartphone, they cannot play much with it all in all, this phone is an improved feature phone that has some advantages of smart phone, good when i want to keep kids away from using smartphone all day happy with it, would recommend

Dont buy this, if you expect it to just work
Good concept, TERRIBLE execution Positives: - Good size - Looks and feels high quality - Buttons feel nice (in my opinion) - The microphone quality sounds fine - It has a headphone jack Negatives: - Horrible viewing angles, if you hold the phone at even a slight angle, its impossible to read anything - The phone crashes CONSTANTLY. Opening whatsapp? Crash! Checking the time? Crash! In the middle of a phone call? The phone doesn't care, crash! - The processor is REALLY underpowered, everything takes forever. And im not talking about intense stuff here. I mean things like clicking on whatsapp takes 3 seconds to even show any sort of feedback on the screen, and then opening itself takes an other 5 seconds. - The lock button doesnt actually work as a lock button with other launches. Every launcher I've tried, thinks the lock button is a home button. - The previous point also applies to the green and red button, as well as the torch, lock and vibrate buttons (bottom row on keyboard) - Even though I've allowed them to be on in the background both in android permissions and in the special phone "Duraspeed" settings, it will sometimes just not show me notifications until i actually open the app. - A lot of apps are not optimized for such a small screen, leading to menues that overclutter the screen and make it impossible to do anything. - The hotspot will sometimes just randomly turn off - The last security update was in 2023 - Sometimes Ill start the phone and it will just not recognize I have an sd card inserted (its not the sd card, ive tried it with several, also restarting the phone usually fixes this) - Speaker phone works with normal callinf but not when calling on whatsapp or telegram - It will only charge with a 5V, 2A USB-C cable and not one that has a higher wattage. This leads me to speculate that they cheaped out and didn't include a communication circuit for talking to the charger (as is standard in most other phones today) Overall I personally will be keeping the phone as all of this just makes me hate using it (which, using my phone less was kind of the goal, so goal achived i guess) But overall if your looking for an experience where stuff just works, this is NOT it. Im very disappointed in how poorly this performed as this is the only non-flip "dumb phone" that can run whatsapp that i was able to find. I hope they take this criticism to heart and try to fix it in their next model as the core concept is solid and promising

Eenvoudige smartphone met deels toetsen.
Goede telefoon met deels toetsen en deel als smartphone. Vereenvoudig menu keuze. Je kunt hem gewoon als smartphone gebruiken. Heeft een micro simkaart nodig.

More negatives than positives
Under expectations with a lot of drawabacks: • Opening the back of the phone to insert the battery & SIM card is extremely difficult. • The display quality and screen resolution are very poor. Even with the largest font size selected, the text remains slurry, too small and hard to read. • The phone is extremely slow to start and to navigate within its menus, including when accessing internal settings. • Some bloatware are pre-installed. • The colored (green/red) lines, supposed to represent the On/Off (answer/end call) buttons are narrow and hard to see in low-light conditions, especially for users with impaired vision. There is plenty of space on the button bar, so they could easily be made larger (wider) (see screenshot below). • Pressing these same physical buttons (the red and green ones) does not allow to answer or end WhatsApp calls. The user must always tap the on-screen buttons — which is often unresponsive or too sluggish — resulting in frustration and time-consuming, especially when need to answer or to make a call quickly. • The toggles for enabling/disabling features/options in the settings use very similar colors (dark blue/black/grey), making it difficult to distinguish whether an option is turned ON or OFF. • Impossible to write an SMS message without first adding a contact number, which is unusual and inconvenient; one might need to draft a message before selecting a recipient. Moreover, adding a number before finishing the message can cause the SMS to be sent accidentally. • The camera quality is very poor, reminiscent of the first-mobile generation phones with cameras more than 30 years ago, and hasn’t improved since then. • Lack of SOS button (useful for elderly). • No speed dial shortcuts on the physical keyboard number buttons; a big drawaback for quick dial. • The font size and display size are too small and cannot be increased, making it difficult to see and navigate without glasses, particularyl the screen resolution is also too low and poor, further worsening the experience. The positive aspect is the size and the central lateral white band that make the charging port clearly visible and easy to locate. However, the many drawbacks far outweigh this minor good feature and does not worth keeping it.

Perfecto
Cumple mis expectativas. Todo según descripción. Teléfono básico para desconexión pero con opción de instalar aplicaciones Play Store (WhatsApp, YouTube..). Teclado alfanumérico en pantalla táctil y teclado físico numérico. Wifi y BT (aún no lo he usado). Conexión usb-c y jack 3’5. Dual Sim y admite tarjeta de memoria micro-SD. Por ahora buen funcionamiento y satisfecha.
