these are nice, glad I bought them - they fit nicely, zipper seems strong enough, not cheap - washes well and are soft to sleep on.

I picked up these Utopia Bedding Premium 100% Waterproof Pillow Protectors mainly to protect my pillows, but I ended up finding another way to use them that’s been really convenient. Obviously, they work great as regular pillow protectors—fit well, feel durable, and do exactly what they’re supposed to do. No issues there. But what I started doing is putting them on top of my regular pillowcases when I want that extra layer of protection. Then when I’m done, I just unzip them, pull them off, and my actual pillows with clean pillowcases underneath are still fresh and ready to go. It saves time and keeps everything cleaner, especially if you don’t feel like changing pillowcases as often. They’re easy to take on and off, and the waterproofing definitely does its job. No weird noise or anything that makes them uncomfortable either. Simple product, but really useful if you think about using it a little differently. Definitely worth having a set. Also take your time with the zippers, I zipper them all the way up when I run through the washer and dryer

These pillow protectors are one of those bedding basics I think are absolutely worth having. I did see some reviews that indicated these pillow protectors aren't water proof. That would be because the fabric on the outer layer isn't water proof (and I'm sure the zipper isn't water proof either). When i got these pillows I immediately tested. The cover got wet, but the inside didn't. This case is a trade off. To get the water proof, it loses a lot of breathability the pillow might naturally have and is itself not very soft. I ended up buying a pillow case to go over the protector because the outer fabric was so rough I couldn't sleep on it. They also make sound, which doesn't bother me, but might bother someone else. I appreciate the zipper, which makes these easy to use and I did desire a waterproof pillow case (warts and all) because I don't have AC and use a fan that sprays water to simulate the cooling effect. These cases do keep my pillow from getting wet and therefore getting a water stain.

Very nice quality. Soft enough to use as pillow case if you wanted to. Zipper for easy laundry and a great value.

After washing these the first time the zippers became tangled in the interfacing. It happens at every wash. They will be excellent if you sewed down the interfacing and did come quality control.

These are really nice zippered cases. Seem to be nice quality. Soft but has a sound to them due to the water proofing. They are so well made, they do hold air at first. Fits as expected. I switched out all my zippered cases with this nice teal color.
