It's like a glove for my body
Thoughts:The material used in this compression shirt is thick, cool to the touch, and feels great. Quality and stitching are top notch, also. I bought this compression shirt to wear under my gi while training jiu jitsu, mostly for the sweat-wicking and body-cooling properties. I can say that, not only is it great at wicking sweat away and keeping me cool, but it also fits very snugly to the point where I forget I'm wearing it! It's like a glove for my body. I like that they offer several colors, however I went with black just to contrast with my white gi. Might get more adventurous with the colors later on as I buy more of these (yes, I already want more).Sizing:I'm 5'7'' @ 130lbs, pretty slim, but fit guy, and I ordered a medium based on the other reviews here saying to order a size up (I normally wear size S t-shirts). It fits nicely, although the compression is tighter is certain areas. For example, the compression on my biceps is more noticeable than the compression on my oblique/rib area. The medium is not loose on me, by any sense of the word, however I *think* that I could go with a S if I wanted some serious compression. My advice for those wondering about what size to go with would be this- If you want *a lot* of compression, order your normal t-shirt size.- If you want a moderate amount of compression, order one size up from your t-shirt size.- If you want a loose fit (I don't know why you'd want this), order two sizes up from your t-shirt size.I would probably adjust this scale one size up on all my recommendations if you're a particularly bulky/thick person, as I'm fairly slim. Some notes and observations:- Others here have noticed color bleeding onto their skin or other fabric when using this for the first/second time. I did not notice this with the black color, in fact I wore it without washing the first time, and it didn't transfer any color to my white gi. I'm guessing this might be a problem with the other colors, but I'd be willing to bet that black and white are the safer colors to get if you're worried about color bleeding- The washing instructions say never to put your shirt in the dryer. Well, stuff happens, and mine accidentally ended up in the dryer because it was hidden in another article of clothing. Good news is that it survived the ordeal in one piece, and doesn't feel any different. I'll be careful not to risk it again, but just so you know, this shirt can handle being sent through the dryer accidentally without being damaged or shrinking terribly.- Keep it away from velcro. Velcro really tears up the material, so keep this shirt clear. I washed this with some board shorts, and the velcro on the shorts ended up attaching to the back of the shirt, and the material started pilling a bit. Thankfully it was a rather small area.Needless to say, I'm very happy with this shirt, although at the time I purchased it, it was $5 cheaper. Here's hoping SUB lowers their price back so I can pickup an entire wardrobe worth of these things.*Note, this review only pertains to the SUB DUAL Short Sleeve compression shirt. I have not ordered nor tried on any of the cold weather compression shirts, long sleeve compression shirts, or graduated compression shirts.

US Buyers Order One Size Up
Hello all. Like you, I scoured the reviews regarding information on sizing seeing as this is a product manufactured specifically for European sizes. Not many of the reviews are helpful so I decided to play it safe and hope for the best. I normally wear size Medium shirts and decided to order a Large for this particular product. I am 5'11 and 165 lbs and it fits perfectly. Now remember, this is a compression shirt; it's meant to be tight and show your rolls! When I first put it on, I felt as if it was a little too tight but then I remembered that this was a compression shirt after all and with a wash or two, it will fit much better. I have pretty broad shoulders and the fit on this is spot on for me. It feels like a second skin but in a good way. The material isn't thin, it's medium weight. Good as a base layer in the fall/winter/early spring, probably too thick for summer heat. If you fit a size Medium in Express clothing perfectly, you will fit a size Large in this shirt perfectly for reference. If you want to err on the side of caution or on the fence, move another size up to XL. The length of this shirt is fine on me as well and I have a 32" inseam.

I ordered a large for my teenage son - 5'11, 190 pds . It was way to small. I ended up giving it away. The cost of return postage overseas made it not worth returning.

Great Under Layer Gear
I have both the Sub Dual and Sub Cold compression base layers. The price tag for these products is high but the quality is clearly there. Whereas I couldn't say that I personally found any impact on athletic performance what I can say is that these products do a great job keep you warm and dry while providing enough flexibility that they do not adversely affect mobility in any way. I typically use the Sub Dual for running out doors in cold (sub-40 degrees). I use the Sub Cold when skiing or when in extreme cold (sub-20 degrees). Quite honestly, you only need one or the other but I like having two pairs. I also think it's kinda cool that some people comment (positively) on the look.

Sizing
I just got mine in the mail, so I can't comment on quality too much other than to say that it seems great. I'm writing to help others who are struggling with determining what size to get. I read all the reviews, multiple times, trying to guess what might be good given how small they run. I'm 6' and about 185 to 190lbs right now (I range from 180 to 200 quite easily). I got an XL. It's very tight, i.e. even tight for this type of shirt, but probably just about 'right' size if you want a particularly snug fit. Earlier I bought a nike 'pro combat' shirt, a large, (which started falling apart almost immediately) and this one is slightly tighter. I'm sure even the XXL would have been tight on me, the L unwearable. Hope this helps.

Great, but get at least one size bigger than your normal.
Love this brand. I've been buying their stuff for a while now and will continue. I accidentally bought this one instead of the thermal one but decided i was going to keep it anyway. Be advised, this is a compression shirt, so it is going to feel tight. I'm 150, 5'11" and went one size up to a large and it fits great. I believe it fits like it should. I have been using it as an under shirt and throwing a muscle shirt on top and it feels real comfortable. I;m also going to correct my mistake and buy the thermal one as well.

Good except for fit
Looks good. Fabric quality good. Sizing not. I usually buy UA but was looking for a lower priced alternative. UA mediums fit me perfectly. This shirt felt more like a small.

Great shirt for workouts
I bought this for my son as a Christmas present, and he loves the feel if it. He has 4 ruptured discs in his lower back, and this really does add support. Of course, he is not dependent upon a shirt and still takes precautions for his back when at the gym. However, this has become one of his favorite workout shirts. It's obviously a tight fit, one that accentuates progress at the gym!
