Craftsmanship was good for the price. Seems solidly built and mounted to the rail nicely. I had to return this mount because the rings were too far apart to fit my shorter scope. Not their fault at all. I would have kept it if it fit.

I went cheap as I purchased an Arken 1x8 lpvo scope and before justification of an Arken cantilever mount, wanted to see how well the scope is. The mount seems basically well made, fit and finish also appear acceptable, color is same throughout, the screws are as one person explained, not enough tolorances for the finish and are snug. I actually like them as they are as no loctite needed the seem durable and stable. It is mounted on a SAM5 but have not had the opportunity to sight them in and check for overall Alignment. Once the shooting takes place and it has some recoil added to it, I will add my thoughts and experiences regarding that. It's raining today and is supposed to all weekend. This to me is the most important of all. The astetics are nice, however if it looks great and doesn't perform it most basic task, what the hell good is it. I'll add experience when it dries up.

Upping this to 5 stars. I received the wrong color, sent it back and got the wrong color again. I originally rated this 2 stars. I contacted Mostrum support for help. It turns out they're out of tan. They offered to refund (without return). Although a very generous offer from Mostrum, I declined. I'll keep it. I'll use it. This is a great scope mount. It's height is perfect for me. My scope sits tall and I can position it above the charging handle and have plenty of space to charge. Lots of mounting screws. The bottom of the scope sits 1 3/16 above the rail. I'll update this after my next 500 rnds on how well it holds up. If you don't mind black, get it. Great quality at a great price. Edit: ~500 rds 55gr 223 and no issues. It's holding up well. No locktight. I still test the screws each 200rds or so.

I have multiple Burris and Primary Arms mounts. I tried some cheap Chinese ones, and they were dismal fails. I gave these a shot based on the reviews and 5-star ratings. This is an excellent value mount. The misses: - I wouldn't feel comfortable torquing these beyond 20 in-lb. The bolts are relatively small diameter compared to something like a Burris that can go in the 60+ in-lb range. - There are no official specs listed or shown for these. Even a small slip of paper with specs. and warranty info. would be great. - Not digging the white logo. A muted gray or something less conspiuous would be better. -6061 aluminum. Stronger aluminum is available. The hits. - it's a toyota corolla of mounts. Basic features, not paying for both smooth and picatinny ring tops. - super lightweight - bolts are flush when mounted. No huge lugs/knobs/qd sticking out. - chamfer on the base adds some elegance and reduces weight. - allen wrench included - sturdy without being over-engineered overkill. Summary: the mount works great for any reasonable normal use. If I was climbing in and out of humvees or expected my gear to be rough handled, I would lean to the Burris. For normal, everyday plinking, shooting, and hunting, this mount is plenty durable. I've bought 2 of these now, and will eventually be buying more.
