Well made, and works great with heavy mics
Was seriously considering the Røde DS2 and decided to try this at roughly 1/3 the price, figuring I’d return it if it turned out to be cheap junk. This mic stand is great! The solid metal material is well finished, the pivot joints operate very well and are tightened with the included Allen wrench to hold a considerably heavy mic. The only thing that isn’t perfect is the lack of large slots for XLR cable management, but the Røde DS2 has the same problem. They include Velcro straps for cable management instead, which are adequate. But I highly recommend this stand - don’t hesitate to buy/try this - it’s really nice.

Worth every penny
Incredible. I got a mic that came with a mount which was great at home but at college the dorm furniture had no place to mount it- so I was distraught on where I was gonna find a stand compatible with the mic I had or just in general. I googled a bit and just kept getting mounted mics or tabletop mics, which, I don't need to buy another mic! This thing is genuinely worth every penny. It was the only such product I found, so I was worried it was gonna be crap. Nice and weighted, easy set up, plenty of adapters, sturdy, and you can loosen the joints to get the angle you want then tighten them so nothing moves, PLUS there is a dial so if you screw on your mic all the way and it's upside down, you can unscrew it till it's straight and just tighten up the dial. Amazing design, exceeded my expectations.

Will tip if you have a long/heavy mic
Decently sturdy, well built and sleek looking. The slot on the bottom for the allen key is a nice touch. But I attached my Rode NT1 to it and the center of gravity is too far out so it wants to tip if I fully extend it. I can adjust the arm shorter to keep it from tipping but then the mic is in an awkward spot. Probably just going to add a weight to the base.

Great for price!
The price for this is so much more worth it than buying the Rode brand one. It works the same. Very sturdy and compact

Good sturdy design
I was surprised actually how heavy an rugged this microphone stand was. The base is a heavy plate of steel with a nice rubber pad underneath, which also holds the alan wrench used for any adjustments. The primary hinge is tight enough that I won't worry about the microphone sagging and its movement is in little increments, and you can tighten it up with the supplied wrench. The second hinge has the thumb screw for tightening, used to fix the angle of the microphone into place . My personal goal was to have a microphone between my keyboard and my dual monitor system so that I could record videos for YouTube and podcasts and this stand did not disappoint. My one reservation would be that it would be nice to have the main post somewhat adjustable in height height as to keep the post just below the height of the monitors, but that is really just because of the way I have my monitors set lower to the table. This setup will be good having the microphone positioned where it is near to me without being right in my face from the viewpoint of the camera.

Compact and stable microphone stand
The stand is very compact but feels solid and stable. It doesn’t take up much space on the desk, which is a big plus for smaller setups. Adjustment is simple and smooth — you can easily move it in different directions and find the right position without any hassle. It holds the microphone securely and stays in place during use. Overall, a great choice if you’re looking for something minimal, functional, and reliable. Highly recommend.

Good for working close to desk with light mic
Good quality stand, suitable if you’re going to stay close to the edge of your desk and your mic isn’t too heavy. This just barely extended my mic far enough over the desk for me to hold my acoustic and operate the keyboard for remote rehearsals, but I ended up having to counterweight it by putting a heavy candle on the base. Ultimately decided to get a low profile mic arm that suited my needs better. If you’ll be in one position close to your desk and your mic isn’t heavy, it’ll work fine.

Elite stand
Very simplistic stand with good weight to it and easy to put together with the simple screwing your mic onto the attachment and able to adjust the stand arm with an Allen key. Only downside I would say it’s a little on the pricey side of things but there weren’t many options for a stand like this on the market

Best Floating Desk Mic Stand.
Best floating desk mic stand for the money hands down. Was looking for a cheaper alternative to the RØDE DS2 since it's overpriced. The InnoGear feels very good with quality metal, anti-slip base and with strong joints that are adjustable. Holds my RØDE pod mic very well. Heard it it's also very capable holding heavier mics too. Would recommend fully!
