Perfect for my cookie baking needs. I'm terrible with eyeballing portions, so this makes it way easier. Husband was skeptical the part that scrapes the back would actually work (he claims they never do), but I've used this scoop to make 3 different batches of cookies and it hasn't failed me yet. Very easy to clean, though I always hand wash it, so I can't comment if the dishwasher will ruin it, but it still looks brand new for me. It does hurt my hand a little after making so many cookies, but I think that's more of my hands being weak than it being too stiff. Overall, good purchase. If, for whatever reason, I needed a different size, I would definitely choose this brand again.

I bought this for scooping out evenly made meatballs and it didn't disappoint. Haven't tried cookies, but I have no doubt that it's versatile enough for that and more. This scoop is easy to use and is a time saver. Well made for the money.
