Chrome Platinum Double Edge Safety Razor Disposable Single Blades (100 Pack)

I have just started using a safety razor at the tender age of 69, having used the plastic, disposable, multi-bladed things for years. My new safety razor naturally came with a pack of blades, and they were impressive enough to make me decided to continue using it.These BIC blades are considerably sharper than the ones that came with the razor, and sharper blades mean fewer passes to get a close shave and that results in less skin irritation. The blades hold their edge as well as the other ones. This pack of 100 blades will last me over a year, and this means very cheap shaving when compared against the disposable options. The BIC blades have minimal packing, and that suits me.I am pleased with these blades and will be buying them again when my supplies dwindle.

Purchased due to offsite reviews and a request for an alternative view.Tried in a range of razors for comparison along with an array of shaving mediums.Certainly these are amongst the sharpest blades available but at a fraction of the price of the main competitor and will likely last twice as long, however;so far one in five loaded razors have been duller than average from the off with no obvious reason as I have immediately swapped them over for a fresh blade to discover all is good again.Rarely a blade will seem sharper than usual and even cause a nick or two along with a bit of head scratching. Please note that using Bic I have had five nicks in total after going at least a decade without any.Bic have certainly produced a great blade IMHO but really need to hone in on the quality control.

I have tried a lot of razor blade brands since I bought a safety razor and I really find that these blades are the best on the market! I have found that they give my legs a much smoother shave and I have not once experienced razor burn when using them. They also take quite a long time to blunt so I get a lot of uses out of one blade.

Great product, unlikely to actually turn up. I have these on subscribe and save and just delay, delay, product can’t be delivered. Don’t waste your time waiting for something that can’t be delivered.

I have, and still do, research for safety razor blades, reading extensive reviews because, as I once read in someone else's review, I have had too many experiences of "having a face looking like chopped liver" - not exactly but hopefully if you use blades you understand the point. Some decent reviews made me buy the Bic blades albeit with a little trepidation as I have never been able to get on with the disposable version, those never giving me a decent shave on first use or afterwards. So, long story short, I actually like these blades and I get at least 4 days' use out of them (2 per edge). When it comes to using safety razors it's all about how well you know the terrain of your own face and what you can and can't do. These razors are certainly sharp and do glide very well - when used with a decent lubricant. Something nice and cleansing about a wet shave without nicks - and my experience thus far with these blades has been excellent.
