Back rest flops back unless against a wall
Very low and if you have it freestanding instead of against a wall, the back rest will not support anything at all and fold back due to its fold out design. There are velcro flaps to attach but they do very little to hold it in place. The compressed material is also very hard and refuses to reshape in some places in the sofa and pillows after unpacking.

Excellent Sofa
Really pleased with this sofa bed overall. It looks lovely in the room, feels cosy, and is great for watching TV or relaxing. It doesn’t take up loads of space and looks much more expensive than it is. It was easy enough to unwrap and set up, although there is quite a lot of packaging to get through. It arrives in two cardboard boxes and is quite heavy, so it’s easier with two people. The Velcro at the sides holds well while sitting normally on the sofa. However, if you are a bit bigger or need a bit of momentum to get up, it may sometimes pull apart slightly. As a bed, it’s handy and practical for guests, but I would recommend getting a mattress topper to make it more comfortable for sleeping overnight. Despite those little things, we are still very happy with it and think it’s great value for money.
