Does it require a primed surface?

Thank you for your email, yes this will require a prepped surface, either primed or existing painted surfaces scuffed back and cleaned before spraying, If using other brands please ensure a test sample first incase of any reactions. All our products are of a urethane based.

Just touching up my fat boy tank should I clear coat the whole thing. How much do I need

I just blended a 3" scratch on left side of a Road Glide tank with the vivid black then lightly sanded whole tank then resprayed the whole tank with the SprayMax urethane clear and looks like new. I bought one can of color and one can of SprayMax and used just a little of the color and about 1/2 can of the clear. Very pleased with the results.
