Recently used in my first trip overseas in decades. One would have been enough but I packed one in my checked bag and one in my carry-on bag in case I got separated from one bag. Many ports, all my devices were charged easily and quickly. It fit readily into a size seven hiking boot along with two pairs of socks!

As I understand it, EU now requires all USB electronic devices use USB-C, so we may see few of these little old-style USB charger cubes in five years. I like the size (tiny, best of breed), the cost (modest), the folding electrical plug tines, the reliability (still functioning after years, never had one go bad), the ability to charge two devices simultaneously, the availability (Amazon). The size (approx 3cm on each edge) and folding tines charmed my initial purchase. It fits in a corner of a suitcase at the last minute, or in a pocket, it weighs nearly nothing, it has no bigger cross section than a single wall outlet so that it leaves adjacent sockets available, and it can hold on even in an old loose wall socket. Compare that with competitor products the size of a deck of cards or a paperback book. These bigger chargers will less likely fit readily in a pocket or suitcase, and they weigh enough that gravity will slowly pull them out of a wall socket. I must have bought a dozen or more of these Anker cubes at various times and lost some in various places and replaced them. I wish the new USB-C offerings were equally small or smaller in size. But alas, we find ourselves in the uncomfortable zone between the good old days and the glorious future.

I’ve owned a dozen or so of these, and I keep buying them because they’re awesome. Dual port charging without being annoyingly bulky. Great for traveling. Work flawlessly every time. Anker is always my go-to brand for charging accessories, they never let me down.

I have tried a lot of different USB wall chargers over the years. Some only provide 2.1 AMPs to a single port and then throttle their other ports. Others fall apart after a couple months or they unnecessarily cover up a valuable wall plug due to their size. I have had great luck with this USB wall charger though, so good in fact that I have been buying extras and giving them to friends and family. Unlike cheap USB wall plugs that throw an error when connected to an Apple device, or even Apple's slow 1 AMP Apple iPhone wall warts, these provide a full 2.1 AMPs, without disconnects or error messages, at each port. This means you can charge an Apple (or Android) tablet or phone, as well as assorted flashlights, battery packs and other USB based devices, all at their full rated speed simultaneously. After the recent outbreak of USB charger firmware / malware exploits at LAX and other US airports, as well as some coffee shop chains, I have also been giving these to my friends who travel frequently. (It is just not safe to trust public USB chargers anymore.) This compact charger takes up only a couple square inches at most and easily fits in an electronics bag or carry-on as cheap insurance against connecting to a malware laden charger in a public charging location. I usually don't have a lot of brand loyalty, if someone builds a better and cheaper mouse trap, I'll go that route, but after owning several different Anker products and seeing them perform exactly as advertised and most importantly, reliably, for many years, am starting to develop a brand loyalty to this company.

The ports are a little snug and cords stay in pretty well. The foldable prongs make it a little loose when connecting to a wall. I like Anker for most electronics because it has good quality and it won't fry my electronics. These bricks charge fast and are safe.

Works perfectly

These are adorable little wall chargers with folding prongs. They work well, and just like any other multi port charger block, the speed will drop if you have 2 devices plugged in, but it still works well. These are so small and compact that they're easy to bring on a trip without taking up much space.

Anker is a trusted brand, don't waste your money on other cheaper brands. I had bought a couple cheaper ones for travelling in case I lost them, but although they worked, they were declared unsafe, so I had to throw them in the garbage, a complete waste of money. Anker works very well, charges quickly, reliable, dependable and is the only brand I will buy going forward. I love that there are 2 chargers in the same unit and the prongs fold away, making them smaller for travelling. I highly recommend these!

These seem to work quite well. I have been using them for a couple of months now and there has not been any issues. Both outputs are 2 amp. And the size is perfect for fitting in a plug in with no interference with other plugs

Charging speed seems good, but the connection between adapter and plug is a little loose. More than once I’ve accidentally taken the whole thing out while adjusting my phone on the charge cable.

Has these for years now. They work so well. Such an awesome brand. Very reliable.
