This timer is a great size to see. I don’t loose this one like I loose the smaller digital timers!

Too small for classroom use
Extremely small. would not suggest getting this if you are in need of a classroom timer that students can see. Could not use it in my classroom

Perfect size for the application.
I was looking for a slim timer that could be mounting to shelving for a kitchen pass through/serving line and these fit the bill.

Smaller than I thought but works!

No power off option
The only way to power it off is by taking the battery out. If not, it stays on all day/night

Display background is darker than I'd like.
It's $9, so I did not have high expectations. I wanted basic, and this fits the bill. I don't mind having to take out the battery to turn it off since I only want it for occasional long exposure photography timing. But, I am a bit disappointed in the display background, which is too dark. Not enough contrast between it and the numerals, making It difficult to read in low-light conditions, or if your eyesight is not what is once was, like mine. It is easy to use, so will be satisfied with that.
