What you need to do is simply place the metal ring on the top of the coconut and start hammering down the sharp blade through the hard skin. Then voila, snapping the top back like opening a soda can. It took me a minute to get my excellent sweet juice. The only down side is I wish they would include a meat collector as well, but this is a 5-star-opener all round.

So easy and an awesome tool! I should have discovered this product sooner when it’s so simple to use. Both the quality of the opener and rubber mallet is pretty great and simply put them back in the bag for easy storage. Now it’s so much easier to open coconuts and we will drink more coconut because of it. Would highly recommended!!

I was excited to buy this product so that I can have fresh coconut juice at home. I did a lot of research and thought this product looked good. However, after multiple attempts and a lot of frustration, I have not been able to get it to open any coconut, even after spending a lot of time whacking the coconuts. It doesn't work, at least not easily. I would not recommend this product.

Last time i always used the big knife to chop it. It was hard for me cos the knife is too heavy. I know this product after read all review n i tried it. It really works good. Helpful 👍

Sturdy and easy to use. I had never been able to drill coconuts without other people’ help; fortunately I can open them by myself with this tool from now on. Just remember to hold the tools firmly when using them.

Works well, I've never had the original but I use cocojack videos for technique instructions and it works perfectly! Very happy with the purchase.

Worked to easily open young coconuts to reveal the meat and of course the water for making coconut water keifer and coconut keifer. Excellent!

My 4yo son loves to drink young coconut and this set helps a lot! I was having a hard time using a knife and small pieces were flying everywhere! Plus, I didn't want to lose a finger/hand so this was worth it :)
