Worked incredibly well for myself, and would recommend.
I really dislike leaving reviews because I fear that something that worked for myself did not for others or vise versa. But in this case I feel the product has by far excelled my expectations and very quickly too. Ive been suffering for around 6 weekf from drainage from an abcess after an ingrowing hair in my perenium, constantly sore and irratating even after antibiotics for two weeks.Id tried a few of the regular anti septic creams and gels but they barely calmed it down.So on pure hope I purchased this product after a quick look at Amazon and the next evening after showering I apllied a small amount before bed and a small dressing pad to cover and the next morning arose with ZERO pain and discomfort,so cleaned and re-dressed for work the next day and by the evening and even after a full days work the swelling had all but gone and very little discharge at all.Two days later and its absolutley done and dusted,no pain, discomfort, discharge and everything is great in my world again. For anyone who may consider purchasing this product I hope your results are as spectacular as mine.Happy and pain free new year people.

Brilliant ointment
Brilliant ointment. I had a thorn between the skin and my toenail. Put a god blob of this on it and put a large plaster over it. Redressed for about 4 days then I managed to get it out with tweezers. You need to put a plaster over it as it is a little greasy. Also just recently got a splinter in my finger, same treatment and it worked!

Really works but...
This really works, I had a troublesome long standing spot on my forehead that kept flaring up again and after just a day of using this, most of the gunk came out with ease. However, the scent is lovely but headache inducing. This may be less of a problem if using it elsewhere on the body, but if you're prone to headaches from essential oils then it's something to consider.

Slow on the draw
Had great hopes for this but it didn't help my skin in any way... I've overspent on various different items, but now have come to realise that the sores on the hairline of my upper neck may never heal.

I have been waiting to give this review until my cyst goes down completely but it’s gone down so dramatically that I think it’s good enough to share. I developed a ganglion cyst on my right thumb knuckle, my dominant hand. And it started hurting the moment it appeared. I’ve never got one before so I didn’t know what to do but it started growing fast. At first it started out small and bulbous. My thumb began to get more swollen and stiff and it hurt to bend it. It wasn’t long before I couldn’t open a bag of chips or use a lighter. And the pain was unbearable. I started to get concerned. I began reaching out to people on social media and doing research on what to do. I heard about castor oil packs so I ordered castor oil and a thumb pack (reusable bandage) and I began applying that multiple times a day. It was helping, but it was so slow. I felt like it was getting worse before it got better. Then I discovered this stuff. I read the reviews and I saw the results. There were photos of people with massive cysts that went down to almost nothing. I was amazed. Considering my options are to spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars in doctors bills draining or surgically removing the cyst just to have it possibly come back I figured I should give this a try as well. I have been so anxious about the cost of removing the cyst considering everything that’s happening with insurance right now, and how much pain I have been in. I had made an appointment with the orthopedic doctor because it was getting so bad. Oh my god. I’m so glad I gave this a try. This stuff WORKS almost instantly. And it’s sooo cheap!! This saved me thousands of dollars. So what I do is I lather the cyst area in the salve. Then I take my castor oil and I place a glob of it on the bandage. Then I wrap my finger and I let it set. I reapply maybe 4 times a day. I sleep with the pack on my thumb. I have it wrapped constantly. After a few days I started to feel relief and the swelling go down. After a week I felt considerable progress. I was able to get some movement back in my thumb, you could start to see my thumb knuckle again. Now it’s been two weeks and I was able to postpone my appointment for another two weeks. I’m still watching it to make sure it doesn’t flare up again but with this Drawing salve I expect it to be completely gone in a few weeks. It’s made with all natural ingredients which just sets and a reminder that the earth has provided us everything we need to heal ourselves instead of bankrupting ourselves with medical bills. This country’s healthcare system is absolutely criminal. It should have NEVER been made into a FOR PROFIT system, we have corrupted ourselves and it comes at the cost of American people’s lives. I’m just so grateful this stuff works, I’m not gate keeping for anyone who is dealing with a cyst just try this stuff first before trying to remove it surgically. It seriously works. And it does take time. I apply it constantly to my thumb and I wrap it. I change the wrap daily and I apply the salve with castor oil. So consider that combo. I got my castor oil and the packs from Amazon too. The smell is not strong or anything, it just smells like balm. It is slimy and greasy yes, but that’s why I use the bandage to wrap it. Most importantly this has reduced the pain I have been in. It’s given me serious relief. My thumb was so stiff I could barely use it. It was disrupting my ability to function and I couldn’t stop using my hand or my thumb. I could barely text and now I am in so much less pain and I can use my hand generously now. I’m amazed at this stuff!! It worksssss!!! It’s so cheap too just please try this stuff out before getting your cyst removed. It has saved me so much money. My cyst is still going down it’s not completely gone yet but I am still using the Drawing Salve and Castor Oil Packs daily. I am about half way done with my bottle. It’s 2 oz and I apply it generously. I will buy another bottle if I need to and I am considering acupuncture if I need to! Don’t hesitate buy this stuff and watch your cyst go down!!

Our precious Bella is a purebred mini schnauzer. She is 15 and had developed a typical Schnauzer bump. It is known as Comedone Syndrome, the “” develop under the surface of the skin as a result of oil buildup on your Schnauzer’s pore. The skin contains sebaceous glands that secrete an oil called sebum to keep the skin and hair moisturized. However, when the skin produces excess fat, the glands are blocked, leading to the development of Schnauzer bumps. In short, they are the Schnauzer version of blackhead. Over 3 years, the bump had developed into a large boil and had ruptured numerous times before. The first time I lanced the bump and as I began to squeeze the bump, what expelled was white grainy and foul smelling. It took several times to drain the spot and it never completely healed. However, over the last year the wound remained open and activity continued to drain with puss and blood, aside from treatment with oral and topical antibiotic ointments, flushing the open wound and still it would scab over but appeared to fill up again despite every treatment possible. I had been told that often the condition at this stage would continue to need treatment. On a long shot I read about this Amish Origins drawing salve. There were warnings of a black drawing salve but the one I found on Amazon was not black in color but a dense yellowish color. It has a strong scent to it but not a foul scent, but a medical ointment type salve. At the time I began to use the treatment, it was a daily routine of cleaning the bloody wound with obvious open build up of scar tissue and discharge. It’s been about two weeks with treatment for six or so times. After a week the bleeding had stopped and the wound appeared to began to dry out nice and flat. So no more obvious signs of further continuing discharge under the skin. Normally, wounds are encouraged to be left uncovered but I elected to place a cotton makeup round over the salve coated wound. I skipped a day of treatment and this morning as I removed the ace bandage that held the cotton round in place there was very little dark discharge on the wound site. I cleaned the area that is now nearly completely closed with a warm witch hazel soaked baby wipe there was no more blood. I reapplied the salve on a clean cotton round and wrap to hold it in place. For the first time in over a year this has never looked so well. It certainly appears that it is well on its way to healing completely and hopefully it will heal soon with the treatments as or if needed. But she is a very happy fur baby and I couldn’t be happier with this product! What the Vet said would never completely heal, the Amish Origins Draw Salve has proven to be far better than any other product or treatment by the Vet! This is a miracle product and I would encourage anyone who has done everything possible to give this a try. After all the expense and pain from before that still never helped by a Vet, the Amish have certainly got this right!!!!

TMI - 3 weeks ago I wore some lacy underwear to work, between the sweat and friction I ended up getting what I assume was some kind of cyst or boil in my inner butt cheek. Naturally, like you shouldn’t I tried to pop it, unfortunately that made it angry and it got a little bigger. Over these last 3 weeks due to friction because it’s almost impossible to avoid or bandage, the spot went from the size of a pencil eraser to a 1x1 inch painful mass. Last night I was at my wits end I again post shower tried to pop it to relieve some of the swelling again, like you shouldn’t. I tried a warm compress after hoping it would help, it didn’t. At this point my only option seemed to be the doctor. I then remembered I had Owell drawing salve that I bought several years ago that says it treats this exact issue, and decided what the heck, I still have 1/3 of the product after that long so I’d say it’s worth the money. I put 3 pea sized amounts, excessive I know, on this spot and went to bed. I woke up about 5 hours later the spot was still painful but I went to check it while doing so I accidentally touched it and it popped. I will spare you the details on that but it’s already significantly smaller in size. Honestly I should have used Owell a long time ago and saved me a lot of pain, it works so well. We typically use it for bug bites and burns. I will continue to buy this amazing product, it definitely saved me a painful doctor visit!

I originally bought this product because my 4-year-old had a splinter in his foot. By the time I received it a few days later, the splinter had already been removed the "old fashioned" way with tweezers. But I kept the tin and put it in the First Aid Kit. A few weeks later, I ended up with a large number of bug bites on the back of my left arm and on my right ankle. In the last few years, I seem to have developed an allergy to certain bug bites, as they now seem to swell and itch more than they ever have before in my life. I even suffered an ice burn last summer after having been bit so bad that I put ice on a bite on my leg and when it finally went numb, I fell asleep with the ice on my leg, and the ice burned me. So obviously using ice was not a safe option for me anymore, so when I got my most recent bug bites, I remembered I had some of this in my First Aid Kit. I went ahead and tried it. I will absolutely tell you that it definitely stops itching instantly. My bug bites were itching so bad, I was scratching them until they bled and sometimes I would continue to scratch them with objects like a pencil or a nail file or even a Pumie Stone and no matter how bad I scratched them, they still itched, so I put some of this on it as an experiment, and it really does stop the itching and it really is instantly. My bug bites -- especially the ones on the back of my left arm -- were also really swollen like welts. I don't know if the welts went away because the salve made them stop itching so I stopped scratching them or because it has something in it to quell swelling or because it extracted the bug poison from my skin... all I can tell you is that it made me and my 2-and-a-half-year-old stop itching instantly. I am not sure that it draws or extracts things from the skin like it says. I honestly cannot tell. I do remember on one of my bites there was some clear fluid oozing out after I used it, but I've had that happen before from scratching it too much and the bite opens up and oozes, so I am not sure if it "drew" the bug poison out or if it was oozing because I couldn't stop scratching it before I applied the ointment. What I can tell you about bug bites -- which I THINK are mosquito bites, but I am not sure -- is this: It stops the itching, it reduces the swelling, and it does seem to speed up the overall healing time. Usually, I would have these bites for a week to a week and a half, and after using the ointment, a lot of the bites are all dried up, when usually, they'd still be like welts and very itchy. I also read some of the reviews after buying and using it, and some said to bandage or place a bandaid after you apply the ointment. I did not do that until tonight when a new bug bite appeared on my ankle and was itchy. So I applied the ointment and then a bandaid. That was only a few hours ago, so i am not sure on the draw-extraction factor, but I can for sure say it makes the itching stop. For the itch factor alone, I would buy this again. If I ever need to extract a splinter or something, I'll be sure to update this review and let you all know how it works. A lot of people mentioned smell in the reviews that I read. It does smell "menthol-y" or "medicated" almost like a very faint smell of A&D Diamper ointment or maybe like Selsun Blue or something like that, but it's not extremely offensive to the senses and it seems to be strongest when you've first opened the tin. As far as I am concerned, the smell is not a factor at all. So from what I can tell so far, it speeds up healing time and instantly stops itching. I will buy it again for sure.

MAGIC- I spend way too much on products claiming to work for things like an ingrown hair or a cystic pimple. I tried this and it wasn’t expensive, has natural ingredients and WORKED! I actually thought I was going to have to go to the dermatologist for an ingrown hair in the bikini area where I didn’t want the dermatologist to look. After 3 days of applying this at night, it’s almost gone. I happened to have a cystic pimple so I said, let me try it! Over night it drew out a huge white head. Never ever does this happen on a huge cystic pimple! It’s one day and half the size. So much for the hundreds of dollars on the light therapy and products. If only all of life was this simple. No irritation either and I have huge allergy issues. So expect anyone would be ok using this if I was.
