It's better than I expected. It is perfect and it was easy to put together. It's very sturdy, beautiful and I am able to store more in it than I expected.

It's perfect for what I need. It's sturdy. Good for the price.

This came marked up missing paint and some of the screws broke.

First of all, the phone number link from amazon to customer service is wrong. The cabinet came without parts and no instruction manual. To make matters worse, customer service said they had to “talk to engineering” to get an instruction manual and figure out what parts are needed because it’s a “new version of the cabinet”. It’s ridiculous—how do they manufacture something they don’t know how to put together? They said it will be 2 weeks before I get the parts. I’m not holding my breath. Terrible experience.

The instructions are awful. The drawer is stuck. The paint came all chipped. The back panel came cracked. The appearance after we doctored it up looks nice, but the aggravation of putting it together and the drawer sticking, etc, makes it not worth the money. My husband begged me to let him burn it and go buy me a different cabinet.

Finish looks great, but where doors meet there’s a gap that I don’t like.

This thing was a pain to build; miscut pieces, the magnets not catching the door because the screws blocked the way, and just general slopiness with the quality. This is of course after the first one was damaged beyond repair upon arrival, so we had to wait for a second. Just try to find something at IKEA. We had to improvise about 3 times just to get things to hold. Some of the pieces were also scratched/dented upon arrival.

Old experienced carpenter. Built my last cabinets from scratch. Bought three of these chests to build-in since I don’t have a truck to haul plywood, lumber, etc. anymore. To try to keep review short… careful prep, assembly and fixing the results of assembly mistakes due to lacking instructions took an incredible seven hours each, not including custom build-in. One big problem on my first assembly was the step that showed a drawing of how to assemble six large parts. No explanation that you and an assistant will have to assemble them all at once or else big trouble. As others have said, the connector cam locks are fragile and there are no spares (photo). My biggest complaint is that I got the third cabinet assembled except for assembling the drawer and installing the doors (final steps). I discovered damage to the drawer front that I had not seen. Contacted the manufacturer as instructed. They had no replacement part and referred me to Amazon for resolution. The Amazon customer service person I phoned said she was escalating my problem to another level since it was out of the ordinary in that I could not disassemble the cabinet to return for a refund or replacement (Prime Member). I waited for about ten minutes before realizing my call was dropped. I made do as I did with the rest of the project (photo). But not satisfied of course. One last word to the wise if you have children or other active environment: the “finish” is a photo of wood grain that is thinner than paper, easily damaged. UPDATE: I contacted Amazon again and they offered three resolution options, one of which I found acceptable (though not ideal).
