DEWALT Miter Saw Stand, Heavy Duty with Miter Saw Mounting Brakets, Tool Only (DWX725B)

I read about one hundred reviews for a new work stand with the miter saw. And, I got analysis / paralysis. Too many reviews where people loved or hated the stand. I thought, it's just a stand, how good or bad can it be. Well, even minor issues will make someone angry and post a negative review. So, my needs were portable, light weight, and easy to use with my battery powered Dewalt miter saw. This one is great. It folds up and unfolds in a minute. The miter saw attachment hooks to the table in about two seconds. My Dewalt attaches to the attachment brackets and is solid as a rock. Transporting this stand when folded is easy. Fold the legs, grab the handle, and go. So, great stand, great mounting bracket, light weight and easy to use. Sturdy and well made.

Some tool stands fit poorly or have flimsy supports. This stand looks lightweight from the photos, but it is as stable as can be expected. I use the miter saw daily. The stand never wobbles. While I might move the saw and stand a few inches when I'm doing rapid-fire cuts, I never have to worry that it will be unstable. I don't use the stand at offsite worksites, but I do move it (with the saw) to different parts of the shop, depending on the project. It moves easily. It took me about 20 minutes to casually set this up. Most of the setup is intuitive. The manual is easy to read and can be helpful for those less-intuitive steps. I have no complaints about this stand and can strongly recommend both the Dewalt saw and the stand.

Arrived on time. I attached my DCS361 DeWalt 20v Max Sliding Compound miter saw and my DeWalt DWS780 12" double bevel sliding miter saw on this stand. The brackets attach to the base of your saw and I am confident that they will attach to any chop saw or other tool that has a wide flat base. This stand is not advertised as a saw stand but works very well for the DCS361 20v Max Saw. The much bigger DWS780 looked a little out of place on this stand. It worked and it was stable but I will use the DWX726 rolling stand for the bigger saw. I chose this stand over the bigger folding stands that have large wheels because when folded, this stand takes up very little space. The stand is lightweight but feels sturdy and well constructed. When the legs are folded up it's hard to reach the carry handle but that is a minor issue. Both ends of the stand appear to have openings to allow a material support stand to slide in. I'm not sure if DeWalt makes such an item but I'll research and update this review. Overall, this is a very good product for the price. I paid less than $80.00 after a $25.00 instant savings.

This work stand is nice and light. Easy to set up and the brackets are solid and grab the horse tight. I have a DWX723 with the same mounting brackets for my DW715 and man, it is a great setup, just a bit heavy for a small job though. I found myself doing it the old way (cutting on the ground) just to avoid dragging the big stand out for a few cuts. I'll carry this little DWX725 horse around all the time in a nice storage spot in my van. Very convenient for an easy and fast setup. The universal slots in the brackets will accept my Milwaukee chop saw as well. A very well designed product even though it's structured lighter duty than the DWX723 it is still PLENTY strong and a wise investment.

This DEWALT stand went together easily and is a very sturdy product as-is, worked without a hitch. However, very disappointed as there are no extension kits available for this stand as of 12/31/13 so can't give it the full five stars. I'm rating the product here, but the real disappointment that deserves zero stars is the price gouging, an artificially inflated price during the pre-Christmas season ($119) only to offer a 'promotion' of $25 off. Now it's back to $99. Tacky. Shady. Underhanded. Sad.

I have 2 of these, and I really like them. I see people complain that they're not great miter saw stands, and I agree. I have 2 Dewalt miter saw stands (one regular and one compact), which are made for saws, and they work much better than these do. But they don't really advertise this as a saw stand, it's a work stand with saw brackets, and that's exactly what you get. Both of my Dewalt miter saws have the same mounting brackets on them, so I can use my saws on either of my two miter saw stands, or my two work stands. I use them on the miter saw stands for obvious reasons. But the extra brackets that came with these work stands work great on my belt sander and bench grinder, and it's nice that I can put any of the tools on any of the stands. I plan on building some sort of table with brackets on it for one of my Kreg jigs, I think this stand will be a great place to mount a jig when I'm out working somewhere. I highly recommend these stands if they fit your needs. They're basically really nice sawhorses that you can clip stuff to. That's all. If you want a really basic stand with mounting brackets, this is it. If you want a real miter saw stand with supports and stuff, get the DWX723 or DWX724 depending on how large a stand you want. They all do different jobs, and that's why I have them all in my shop.

I bought this Dewalt DWX725B work stand to use with my Dewalt 12" miter saw to provide a compact, stable and very portable stand. It is very nicely built and erects and folds for storage smoothly and easily. The miter saw brackets, once mounted to the saw, provide a quick and easy way to attach the saw and then remove for transport. Keep in mind that this unit, unlike the Dewalt DWX723 or Dewalt DWX724 , does not provide support for long pieces of stock so you'll have to use a auxiliary roller stand. In my case I needed a compact stand and this worked out perfectly. For those who intend on using this stand with other brand miter saws, yes, you may have to be creative when attaching the saw to the brackets but once you've done that it's easy to mount and dismount the saw to the stand.

Muy practico,ligero y economico, lo complemente con un par bases de soporte rockwell rk9034 jawstand xp de forma independientes para el corte de material largo (tambien los adquiri en amazon) En particular las palancas para abatir o intalar las patas es un plus muy comodo. es compatible con mi ingleteadora dws780 que es la mas grande tengo entendido, y a pesar de que no estaba indicada para este modelo me la jugue y estoy muy satisfecho. ademas funcionan como bancos de trabajo,tiene orificios de fabrica para sobreponer una madera y evita que se lastime el metal.

I bought the saw stand for my brother who has an accompanying saw from DeWalt, I wasn't sure about the product at first since I had seen a few reviews online that said that it was not good, packaging was an issue etc. But after ordering it and receiving it, the packaging was good. There was no damage, all the parts were accounted for and the quality is there. Nothing more to say. It's DeWalt quality and DeWalt tough.

Sturdy, very well constructed, well thought out design. Sets up easily in a matter of seconds. Folds up just as easily and hang it on the wall out of the way. 1000 lb. load maximum. I know it's difficult to get excited about a tool stand/ saw horse but it's even harder not to get excited about these. To make it even more exciting I got mine on amazon at a real good sale price. What the heck, I got two.
