Victorinox Swiss Army Ranger

This is a good knife, but a big knife with easy right one hand open & closing. Other features are quite useful if it's your first victorinox but if you own a victorinox with several tools, they can be redundant. Packaging was poor, but product new and intact. Carving done with the knife in under 20 minutes.

Ranger is a 13 cms lockable Swiss knife supporting one hand action. It's quite large with a unique grip that is made out of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene. The size difference with the Swiss Champ can be seen in the photographs provided. The seller is 'Gute Reise' and thanks to them, the product came in mint condition. Earlier I had ordered some tiny SAK's (Swiss Army Knife) via Amazon from the seller 'Perusal' which had to be sent back due to scratches. This model is seldom ordered because of the large size and lesser available functions. But for me, this one tops my list of Swiss Knives simply due to the one hand antics it permit..! Unique due to it's size, special ABS grip, one hand click lock option & functional victorinox logo which doubles up as an unlocking 🔐 switch, I have always carried it along since its arrival just for the fun of one handed opening and hearing it 'click' lock. A word of caution_ the knife is large, very sharp and illegal to carry along in UK and Europe (due to it's size and lock🔒 although it's a good tool for self defence at the place of residence when you are on a trip). Go for it guys for its real fun to have... Pls have a look at the video to appreciate it's one hand opening and 'click' lock...

Great knife! But the packaging was horrible!! I am surprised that the knife survived the transit. The victorinox box was all beaten up and torn. Gives the impression of a second hand product.

Keep it in your house quite durable and extremely sharp

I travel a lot and for longer periods. Instead of carrying multiple tools like knife, wine opener, screwdriver, cutter etc. I wanted to buy a high quality multipurpose tool that would have all useful tools in compact form. I choose this one for its reliability and durability. Victorinox makes a wide range of multi utility tools but this one serves my purpose which is to access all important everyday items while travelling without adding bulk of nearly used tools. Price was cheaper by 20% of listed price because of promotional offer by the seller. On initial review, the product looks high quality. The weight is about 200 grams and handle has balanced grip. I will revisit this review after few months to report its usefulness or point our problems, if any.

This is a large knife, so think twice before purchasing it. Attached with review are pictures showing how huge it is and how it looks in hand. The quality of this knife is top notch, typical of what you would expect from veterans like Victorinox.

As always, you couldn’t go wrong buying these knives.

...das kann mehr als nur Vesper...dürfte diverse Outdoor-Aktivitäten locker überstehen... ...und wer glaubt, dass ein Korkenzieher heute nicht mehr nötig ist, weiß die Vorteile nicht zu schätzen wenn's drum geht einen Knoten damit zu lockern...sollte Victorinox je auf die Idee kommen den Korkenzieher zu ersetzen...also mir persönlich würde die "Trageöse", wie im Super Tinker gut gefallen...'tschuldigung, nur so für meinen Geschmack... ...alles blabla, es ist ein hervorragendes Werkzeug...

Navaja bloquable con un calidad absolutamente extrema. Otra joya de la fábrica Victorinox para los amantes de la buena herramienta EDC. Robusta, práctica e inigualable. Ergonómica, funcional y poseedora de una estética preciosa. Es perfecta.

I multiuso della Victorinox sono una sicurezza per qualità, affidabilità, durata e rapporto qualità/prezzo. Forse l'unica cosa che manca ai classici multiuso è la possibilità di aprirli con una sola mano, quando l'altra è occupata. Questo RangerGrip61 risolve anche questo ed in più offre un blocco in apertura di tipo liner lock (non cercate di chiuderlo come gli altri, il liner è quasi irragiungibile, ma basta premere sullo scudetto crociato...). Lama più spessa e leggermente più lunga dei classici multiuso; pochi ed essenziali gli accessori per un ottimo equilibrio fra completezza e manegevolezza. Assolutamente consigliato.

Très content de ce couteau suisse très polyvalent. Très bonne lame de qualité et assez longue. S'ouvre d'une main. système de fermeture pratique et sûre. Je recommande !
