CLAYMORE COMPLETE BOX SET VOL 1-27

I'd suggest this series to any manga appreciator, especially people who liked Berserk (as both Claymore and Berserk share a dark fantasy setting with a love for depressive and tragic backstories), people who like more mature themed and somewhat violent manga (although violence is not really central, obviously there's a lot of violence but it's nothing I would call too graphic or gore-y) and people who after having watched the Claymore anime want to see how the story truly progressed after Pieta and truly ended (because the anime ending is really just an anime original ending made up on the spot to give that series some kind of conclusion, the manga was nowhere near finished back then so it was either that or no conclusion at all). And obviously also people who like badass women carrying giant swords!

First of all the purpose behind reading a manga (for me) is to get the essence of reading with pictorial representations. The art work was brilliant. Even the story line was so unique and beautiful in itself. There's nothing that I disliked about these series. A must read masterpiece.

The box set itself looks brilliant with its dark embellishments. A story set in the medieval times, claymore is a dark fantasy that engages the reader to progress without any halt till its completion. The art work that starts off well dramatically improves with time. Recommend it to seasoned manga/anime enthusiasts (because this will be a big one if you miss it).

Underrated great series everyone should read it

De los mejores collectors edition en formato impreso que he visto la caja tiene muy bonitos detalles. Y cubre y protege muy bien la coleccion. Nota que estan en ingles la obra pero me ahorra esperar años a que lo saquen en español aquien mexico. Y el precio segun cuando lo compre era de 90 pesos cada volumen. Que muy lo valen y sin mencionar la preciosa caja protectora y aparte tiene un artbook exclusivo. Y sin mencionar un excelente papel y cubierta para leer. Nota es la 14 impresion del manga. Para mi este producto Fue un callate y toma mi dinero Instantaneo. Altamente recomendable si eres fan de este manga.

Contains all individual 27 volumes of the manga in a laminated rigid cardboard box with Velcro fasteners to keep the opening shut. Comes with an art book too. A good collectors item for those hardcore Claymore fans. Even if you're just interested in getting the books for reading material (like me), this is a really good value. The small art booklet that comes with this collection is pretty small and has the same length and height as each volume. The art booklet has just over 60 pages of some really nice art, but unless you're a hardcore fan of the series I would not recommend getting this box set for the art book alone. I watched the anime a while back and wanted to start reading the manga, luckily this box set came out just as I was going to start buying each individual volume. It's a great price, but if you already own most of the individual volumes this may not be worth it for you as the bonus material is more for the hardcore fan/collector than the casual reader. EDIT: I gave a ballpark figure of "about 20-30" pages for the art book on my initial review. I looked back and found out that this estimate was a "little" off... Sorry for the misinformation.

All tomes came in good shape, the artwork booklet is a nice addition, ans the box itself is really nice, well constructed and seems strong. Also, cheaper than buying all the tomes separately. So it's a win win. The box itself may be too big to put anywhere, but I don't mind that. 10/10
