Heavy duty KS Front Sight Adjustment Tool Review: Right tool for the job! - This tool works perfectly! Makes adjusting the front sight post on an AK quick and easy. It's the right tool for the job! Not for use on frozen front sight posts, though. If your front sight post is locked up and won't rotate, you can avoid bending or breaking the ears of the tool by making a simple home-made "breaker" tool using this trick: Take a 1" long 5/16x18 bolt and a 5/16x18 brad hole t-nut (you can get these at your local hardware store for next to nothing), then cut a groove in the end of the bolt (I used an angle grinder) and drill a hole in the center of the bolt for the sight post (I used a 3/32 cobalt drill bit). Finally, attach the t-nut, flat end first, to create a reinforcing sleave/collar for the ears of your new breaker tool. After soaking the front sight for a while in penetrating oil, put the assembly over your sight and use a wrench to break it loose. It should fit perfectly if your sight post is relatively centered in the sight block and not all the way over to the left or right. Review: For the price can not beat. - It is unlikely that you will need to sight your rifle setup two times. With that said, this tool is great and effective at doing so. I slighted mine and my friends rifle in in about 10 minutes, and the tool did exactly what it was designed for. When I got this tool, it was covered in rust. I just used my CLP and took the rust off. The reason I give this five stars is for the value you can't find a better tool for the price. The elevation portion worked great too. I was reading reviews were people said that that was very flimsy. Worked well for me although I don't strong hand anything that I own. And now stays in my range bag.

Works well for ak but need modification for sks
It's a OK that does it's job, the handle Is too short to really get a good grip on especially if your rifle is older like mine and takes some more force. For my ak 47 it works well with no fitting issues but if you purchase this for an sks keep in mind it won't fit without grinding down one of the corners. I took a dremel to it and it fit after 30min

Well made for the price
Adjusted the sight on my zastava m70 ak47 easily. Feels like high quality without the high price.

It works
Slightly modified it, and it works as a pusher for a smle #1 mk3 now. Decent material.

Works just fine
I read all of the negative reviews about this tool breaking when trying to turn the front sight before buying the tool (all the different brands had the same bad reviews), but I decided to take the chance - for one reason: if *anything* on a firearm is so hard to manipulate then you need to stop and think about what you’re doing. I used this tool maybe 6 times and didn’t have any issues whatsoever! It’s obvious when you hold it in your hand that, no, it’s probably not going to stand up to any serious abuse… seriously it’s obvious. So, these reviewers that snapped the tool I to pieces probably didn’t know what they were doing at all and torqued the tool beyond it’s limits.
