These installed very easily. They do not slide around at all when walking up and down the stairs. My metal stairs got super slippery whenever it rained which is why I purchased three of these. Not only do they make my stairs safer, they also help catch some of the dirt before its tracked in! I've seen several poor reviews complaining that they are too small. I'm assuming those buyers failed to measure their steps before purchasing because they are true to the size on the listing. As you can see mine don't extend all the way to the ends of my steps. I simply centered them and they work just fine. I am pleased with this purchase and the price I paid.

Bought two of these for our travel trailer that has two steps. Husband says it was an easy quick install. It looks good on the steps (new trailer definitely want it to look good) Stays in place and weathers well. This trailer has no carpeting so dirt shows up quickly. this definitely helps reduce the amount of dirt being tracked into the trailer. While these are important I also have an awing rug on the ground outside the trailer and a small rug inside the door. (have grandchild that travels with us so everything that can help reduce the dirt is huge)

Made well. It doesn't quite fit as good I thought that it should. Loose on the standard RV step. Slides around a little. Arrived as stated.

I wasn’t sure this cover was necessary, but I’m very glad I got it. It makes the step feel more secure when I step on it and it keeps shoes cleaner. We have a mat on the ground, but this cover really makes a difference. And there’s no way it could come off going down the road. It fits nice and tight on the step. No slipping at all.

Fit my small camper stairs. I bought because my dog got a toe nail stuck in the slits of my metal stairs and I had a 65 pound dog with hip dysplasia stuck sideways hanging off the top step. They work great, springs used to connect to itself seem flimsy. Once they break I’ll just zip tie them. The holes are reinforced so I’m not worried about a connector pulling too tight. My camper is on a seasonal site so the stairs stay in the down position all summer. There is only one in a box. 4 stars only because the springs seem cheap

This is a great addition to the RV as it provides a nice non-slip surface to the otherwise slippery metal step. The only thing that precluded a 5-star rating is the springs that are used to attach the cover. While they did snap into place easily and they hold the carpet in place while parked, they are made of relatively thin wire and look like the will probably rust quickly and are unlikely to retain their holding power over time. I will replace the springs with some zip-ties so there is no possibility that the step cover can be blown off while travelling down the road... time will tell whether the carpet itself hold up or becomes a slipping hazard in the winter with freezing temps and snow. But for now, it is a great improvement to the existing step into the trailer.

4 year Update: We have replaced these 3 times in 4 yrs with constant use and will be replacing again soon. I still recommend but they get tired after about a year. If you don’t use them as much you’ll definitely get more life out of them! My husband and I are full timers and this is the best upgrade to those basic style RV steps! Our steps have cut outs to create grip but they hurt your feet when barefoot. We also have a dog that was having a horrible time using the steps but no more! He is older so he can even see them better at night whereas he could not see the black steps in low light before. We have a slight curve to our steps so we bought the smaller pads so they wouldn’t bow out on the edges and they worked out fine. I recommend buying the smaller ones anyway because they are plenty wide and there is no need to pay more to cover the whole step. My only complaint is that they get soaked after our heavy afternoon rainstorms in the summer months so it takes them a while to dry out. Honestly, it’s worth walking on damp pads sometimes just so the dog can be happy! I can see the fabric wearing out and fraying eventually from sweeping them off but I think will hold up a long time. This is one of those easy and affordable upgrades that make a big difference. Highly recommend!

Bought 2 of these for a friend who recently purchased a camper with metal grated stairs. She is over the moon happy with how well the product works. Installation was fast and easy. removes in a flash for easy cleaning, just give it a shake or a quick brush and poof, clean. Well made and price is great.

Good Product, exactly as advertised, makes a nice grip on the step for those sometimes slippery foodwear. Installed in seconds and looks great.

We have 3 steps on our travel trailer the 2 bottom steps fit perfectly our top step is longer and we used our own bungee cord to fasten it unfortunately. Not this products fault. Our dog now goes in and out of the RV with ease and majority of the dirt and dust remains outside instead of inside.

I ordered three of these for our RV steps. I had to modify slightly to accommodate the attaching hardware on the top step. Very easy to install. Has grommets on the underside for attaching a spring to keep them in place. We are using them as we have a small dog who doesn’t like the metal steps.
