The knife looks great. It's very sharp. I'll let you know how it performs after I cut up a big Rib Eye. The blade is a little on the thin side, but it appears to be a good value for the price. I like that the grip seems to be very durable. The merchant however was a little lax in the packaging. It was shipped in a plastic bag, and when I received it the knife blade was sticking out of the bag.

I am a fan of Mercer and Dexter knives, but seen a lot of professionals use the Victorinox, so I decided to take a shot when this was on sale and thank god! This thing holds a blade and is extremely sharp! Love cutting our pork butts, top loins and chuck rolls with this knife!

I bought this knife for my husband, who like to buy thick tomahawk steaks and slice them into thinner portions. He hasn’t used it for meat yet but I used it on a butternut squash. It handled the tough, dense flesh of the squash quite nicely, way better than our other knives I’ve used. I can’t wait to see how it works on the steaks. The blade is long and sharp and I anticipate it not having a problem slicing through meat.

Compré este cuchillo Victorinox y la verdad superó mis expectativas. Desde el primer uso se nota la calidad del acero: viene muy bien afilado y corta con mucha precisión tanto carnes como vegetales. El mango es cómodo y antideslizante, lo que da bastante seguridad al usarlo, incluso con las manos húmedas. Además, se siente ligero pero resistente, ideal para usarlo a diario en la cocina. Otro punto a favor es que mantiene el filo bastante bien con el tiempo, algo que no siempre pasa con otros cuchillos. En resumen, es una excelente compra si buscas un cuchillo duradero, práctico y de buena marca. Sin duda lo volvería a comprar.
