If you use this stuff properly and combine it with the right materials, it works, plain and simple. Very happy with how my small home studio turned out using it.

One of them was cracked and leaked out. Too expensive for the quality.

I bought two boxes of Green Glue (12 tubes total) after watching the wall insulation video. The video included a link to all the materials, including the Green Glue. Out of the six tubes we attempted to use, the very first one failed. After placing it in the caulking gun, the glue immediately started leaking everywhere—onto my hands and the floor. At first I thought I had done something wrong. My brother then tried installing the second tube in the gun, but the exact same thing happened. The cap that is supposed to be pressed by the gun simply popped off, just like the first one, and the glue sprayed everywhere—on my clothes, tools, walls, and even my phone. This experience has been extremely disappointing. Not only did I have to throw away my clothes, shoes, and phone cover, but we also had to spend a lot of time cleaning the tools and walls. Unfortunately, we were unable to remove the glue from the wall completely, so now we also have to repaint the room. Thankfully, we had not installed the new floors yet. I would strongly recommend that the company implement better quality control for these products. The cost of the damage caused by these defective tubes is at least dozen times higher than the value of the glue itself.

Intended to use the product to soundproof a shared wall between Main Home Master Bedroom and Guest House Bathroom. When the contractor's staff opened the first tube of Green Glue, it exploded. Green Glue on my $6,000 Master Bedroom carpeting. Had I been informed before the contractor's staff attempted to remove it using water; I would have taken a photo as evidence. While most of the glue was removed, there remains a sticky spot which will likely act as a magnet for dog hair and dirt. If the manufacturer reads this; please provide instructions as how best to remove the remaining stickiness. Thank you.

Does not resemble photo. It's missing the nozzles. And I did not notice in description. Very disappointing to receive the product with the main part needed missile.
