Cats Best Smart Pellet (5 Kg, Multicolor)

This is the best litter type for my Persian cat. His under belly stays clean unlike when using other clumping litters which used to leave him small clumps stuck to his coat after he came out of his litter tray. Highly recommended for long hair breeds.

I bought this hoping it would not track out of the box when the cats come out. Unfortunately quite a bit of the litter comes out of the box as the cats leave. But that wasn’t the biggest issue. For some reason when cats go in the litter the clumps are huge. Much bigger then other litters including the cheaper regular version from the same brand. This leads to going through a lot of the litter and I don’t see the bag lasting very long, making the value for money not so great. Also when removing the clumps a lot of it breaks apart. This makes it much harder to clean then other brands. Overall I would just avoid this Smart Pellet version from the Cats Best brand.

Although I have a short-haired cat, and this product is marketed for being excellent for the long-haired variety, I pay the the extra as it's so brilliant! There is less cat litter trailing out of the litter tray, and the larger pieces are easy to pick up off the floor and chuck back into the tray. When the cat has a wee, the litter clumps into a sort of jelly-like substance which is so easy to scoop out and dispose of. I haven't noticed any smell from the cat's urine in the tray - it really does seem to absorb smells. It might seem expensive, but I use very little, as it's so easy to dispose of the specific clumps and to just top it up when needed. I therefore find it very economical to use. I can't recommend it highly enough.

There is actually no odour and it works. I have a male cat, we didn't do any surgery for him, so you can imagine the level of his smell. We tried before the clay litter, but the odour was so strong. After researching the cat litter products I bought this one. It works. The litter is making a balls which make the cleaning process easier. My cat didn't like it (I guess because it'ssomehting new for him), but now I see that he is quite comfortable with it. If you are looking something that works- this is for you. I will not recommend to everyone, because cat might be picky for the litter material. But I tried and mine cat liked it.

Good quality pellets, they clump well and don't turn into "sawdust" like other pellets. I also find that they are quite smell-absorbing. My cat is happy and so am I.
