Have all the ports been upgraded to 3.0 or are you still false advertising it as 3.0 when only one of the ports actually 3.0 and the rest 2.0?

No. Only the first port (near blue LED) is detected as 3.0,the remaining ports show as 2.0. I don’t like being tricked.

The length of the cable is about 10 inches long. I just got mine today (7/27/23) and measured it. It is longer than what most people realize. The USB hub itself is about 4 inches long.

can you plug mutiple microphones into it?

The unit has four USB connections. If your microphones have USB plugs, then they can be connected. BUT... Will they work they way you want them to? Who knows, as you don't state what you're trying to do... Just know that you can order the unit, try it out... If it works, great. If not, you can return for free and refund of cost.... Easy enough to try...

外見上は4ポートどれも同じに見えますが、この商品ではポートの仕様がは異なります。 USB3.0 (5Gbps) として機能するのは、ケーブルに近い側のポート：1個のみです。基本的には "USB2.0-HUB" ですが、1ポートだけは "USB3.0" の信号(Tx± / Rx±)がポート端子に直結されている構造の商品で、他商品での実例を挙げるなら、100均等で目にする (3 x USB2.0) + (1 x USB3.0) の商品と同じ構成です。使われているチップは、 214b:7260 Huasheng Electronics USB2.0 HUB でした。 --- 私自身は "USB2.0" ポートに接続して使う事を前提にこちらの商品を選らんだので、この様な構成の商品でも特に問題はありませんが… 一般的な構成の "USB3.0-HUB"(全ポート USB3.0) を期待するなら、別の商品を検討すべきす。私個人の場合に限定すれば何ら問題ないのですが、上記の通りで商品説明は不十分と感じました。よって、この評価です。

Better than the other makers' splitters

Ive bought two of these from other vendors previously. One had a port die, caused a BSOD and the other is hopeless with the electrical draw... "too many devices" (i.e a keyboard/mouse, plus a thumb drive) and it craps out. THIS one however is GREAT. Plugged in a logitech cam, a keyboard and mouse and its no troubles. It LOOKS the same as the others (how much design can go into such a simple thing?) but its performance is much better. For Linux users - works perfectly. Kernel 5.25+ pick it up as a USB3 hub and transfers are full speed. Nice. Recommended.

Works. But beware, your computer isn't a battery terminal or power outlet. You hook too much stuff up and certain components will fail. I use this for my laptop and if I hook up too much stuff, my touchpad won't work.
