cloud gray looks kinda pink, is it?

Cloud gray color changes to mix of light pink to light purple after first machine wash.  Lighter colors are cooler in hot sun.  Only other light color is white which will show dirt or stains more readily than off white.  Amazon needs a second off white color.  Willit needs to change shirt so color does not change after washing.  
  Walked to grocery store in rain during summer.  Wet torso was cold after shoping as air conditioner low humidity gives rapid evaporation and cooling off willit shirt material.  Indicates shirt promotes hypothermia during cold winter temps especially when wet.  Hood up gives warmer head under rain jacket hood.
Purchased July 2021 with hopes color change had been corrected.  Hope for notification on future color correction.

What are the washing instructions?

Mine did not include any washing instructions. The Amazon product description says machine washable, but one comment said hand wash in cold and another said detergents destroy sun protection! There is no Willit website with product info, so would love to know exactly what the washing directions say, word-for-word.

If i use two, the UPF will be 100++?

Accepted Answer

Serious Answer is No.  UPF 50+ is the maximum UV protection.  UPF 50 is 98% UV protection and the plus (+) may increase it a bit above 98%.

Best UV protection fabric to use for UPF are Polyester and Nylon.  Other material are not as effective, but some chemical treatment may increase UPF, but they will eventually wear down after many washes (follow cleaning instruction will increase longevity).  For additional protection you can buy Darker (absorption saturation) or brighter (more reflective) color UPF clothing.  Not all UPF sold are equal.  There are UV test cards around $10 or other test UV products that are $40+ that may give you an idea how well protected you are with your new UPF purchase.  There are more expensive equipment but they are more for industrial tests and not really necessary for consumers.  PS the UV test method can also be used on UV passing through windows, like car window with tint and UV protection film in homes.  Hope this answer helps someone, unlike my funny answer from before.
