I have 133 gallon rain barrel I use these to actually help keep the water clean. They work amazing I purchased both sizes. Just remember that how many used depends on if the water is clear or not. Every home should have these as a precaution because you never know what might happen, had a citywide water shut off. They allowed us to be able to use our rain water instead of standing in line for bottled water.

I use in my water jug My water dispenser at home I put two of these in I got tired of carrying the big heavy jugs so now I just dropped two of these tablets in there and my regular house water let it sit 30 minutes and then you can drink it purifies the water a little bit I have a tester so it does work Little heavy on the chlorine that gets rid of the hard water keeps the water cooler running good and better tasting
