タイトルにもOfficialとついていますが、ScratchJrの開発メンバーが書いている公式なガイドブックで、細かいところまで行き届いた解説がされています。 ScratchJrを教える大人向けの本のようで、子供に教えるときのヒントやアイデアなども豊富に書かれています。 ２０１６年２月の時点では、英語版とスペイン語版しかないようです。

O livro ajuda muito a entender e explorar o ScratchJr. Os autores, que são os próprios criadores do app, são muito didáticos. Faço os projetos de exemplo e ensino aos meus filhos, sendo 4 e 6 anos. Estimula muito a criatividade e raciocínio lógico estruturado. Meus filhos adoram brincar com o aplicativo e já estou planejando a transição para o Scratch, inclusive aliado a projetos de robótica, Lego Mindstorms, etc.

Muy bueno para que los nietos aprendan a programar, con todas sus benéficas consecuencias, de la mano de sus abuelos (que tengan una formación técnica)!!!
