Wish I had bought the 12" instead of the 8". The clock face is not actually bright white, it's more of an off white so the face doesn't stand out the way I had hoped. Clock works well and keeps pretty good time. Looks cheerful on the wall with the red rim.

I bought it to replace one almost identical, an inch larger in diameter, that lasted for decades. Amazing that these excellent clocks can be manufactured for so little and last so long. A pleasant simple design, easy to read even with my cataracts.

Bought two of these clocks in late January -- one black, one red. Both worked fine for about a month then the red one started losing time -- about 20 minutes every couple of days -- what good is a clock if the accuracy is that poor? As I write this at 11:52 AM, the clock reads 9:39. I tried changing batteries -- twice -- but to no avail. Black one still works fine, so if you're thinking of purchasing these, I'd say you have a 50/50 chance of getting what you're paying for ... not good odds in my book! The return window had, of course, expired before the problem showed!UPDATE: 2 days ago I tried to return the clock to Amazon who directed me to the manufacturer. Within 48 hours the manufacturer got back to my online complaint, said there was a 1-year warranty on the clock and asked where they should ship the replacement -- now that's GOOD customer service. Updated my review from 1 star to 4 stars. Black clock still works great and I'll bet the new red one will too! Thank you, Bernhard Products!

Has second hand and is easy to read. Frame is nIce red color. Keeps good time.

I bought this clock for my bathroom, I thought the red would be a nice pop of color. I was wrong, it looked silly. It's such a cute clock though that I found another location for it, I put it in my home office. I still needed a clock for the bathroom so I bought the clock again in the black color. The clock is a really nice size, not too small, not too big. The numbers are easy to read. It seems to be really well made. I only recently purchased it however it seems to be keeping good time.

Clock is great for smaller spaces. Large numbers and contrasting red second hand. Silent running - no ticking sounds. So far has kept perfect time.

Batteries last only about 2 months, so this clock generates a lot of toxic waste.
