Beyond Bait Pump - 2-Speed Live Bait Aerator for Bait Buckets

What a great little aerator, one D battery and it lasted over 22 hours. I had others that I paid fifty for and they would last 12 hours, but this pump kept on and on and overnight. I was so afraid that I was going to lose my 200 shrimp, I'd keep going out and checking the bait bucket, but know what I say, you can rely on it. It's worth changing out the battery the next day, but motor kept on going, never lockup, 4 days later and two D batteries and a ton of reds and trout.

Works well no complaints

Solid aerator for the price. It is plenty powerful to pump air down to the bottom of a 5-gallon bucket of water (as resistance increases with depth). Battery life is good also. However, it is not particularly waterproof and has significant corrosion from occasional splashing with saltwater (never submerged). The fact that they expect you to keep it in the included plastic blister pack for added splash protection is a joke. It still functions after two seasons of use over two years though. I bet it will last at least a couple more years. You could probably open it up and make the components more waterproof if you wanted to spend the time doing so. It is not very quiet, but I would not call it loud either - don't really notice it out on the boat.

I bought two and they didnt last a full fishing trip the motors went out after about 10 hours even after new batteries.

Exactly what I needed to add to bait bucket for double the air

I use mine on a 5 gallon Frabill bait bucket. I love the fact that you can adjust how much air you want your bait to get the switch on the left put out less air than if you turn it all the way to the right. Keep that oxygen flowing. Great value for the money durability is nice and it even comes with this nice plastic case to put over it in case it’s raining. Perfect size in my opinion. Really can’t even hear it running. The functionality is great. I always suggest getting the blue stuff. That keeps them amped up and ready to catch you some big fish.
