Easy to understand and absorb the information of the New Testament even for an agnostic person. Pleasantly surprised with the text.

I bought this little copy of the New Testament to read when I curled up in bed late at night or if I cannot sleep ..... I have always found it difficult to read my big leather Bible in bed without damaging it. This little paperback, I can fold back into a convenient size to hold with one hand while lying on my side! I wouldn't recommend this way of reading to be the only time to have with your Bible, but it's great to read a little bit more right at the end of the day also, what better thoughts can you have while finishing your day?

I bought this New International Version of the "New Testament" as it offers a distinct textual basis for its contents, being based on the Koine Greek sources. These sources are different to the King James Version, and constitute what might be the earliest existing materials for the complete New Testament. In consequence, the alterations and additions that have been included in many versions of the New Testament are not found here. For instance, the final chapter of the Gospel of Mark ends at Verse 8 - which is its original ending; while many other versions of the New Testament include later additions (verses 9 to 20). It can be rather shocking to discover how much has been "added to" the gospels! As I was interested to read an English translation of the original New Testament - without later additional materials - I opted for this item. I am impressed by this translation. However, this is a very tiny book (it's pocket-sized) - which means that the print is quite small. I would have preferred a larger printing. Nonetheless, for anyone seeking the earliest of known versions of the New Testament then I highly recommend this book.

It is simple & best in quality for this price. I’m looking for the same Old Testament. Simple language good print & quality but I didn't find the Old Testament separately. It would be great if they print the Old Testament too separately.

写真で見ると、聖書らしくなく、厳粛さがなく、世俗的な感じがします。手に取るまでは不安でした。選択の失敗になってもいいから買ってみよう、と思わせた理由は、百均並みの値段でした。百均並みでなかったら、絶対に買わなかった本です。しかも、取り寄せにウン週間?－－－－さて、荷が到着してみると、結構、ちゃんとしていて驚きました。厚さ2cm超ですが、ペーパーバック特有の軽さで、デザインの軽さと合わせて、"予想外"の気分転換になります。結婚式にも葬式にも不似合いですが、携帯するにはちょうど良いです。英語も現代風の、中高生でも読めるplain-Englishのようで、抵抗がまったくありませんでした。 Since long time ago, I have felt that we;Japanese cannot be saved by the Old Scripture. It is because Bile is originally written for decendant of Israel ; the certain ration in the middle East. It is very far from Japan in East Asia. The culture with sheep is also very different from the culture cultivating farms in East Asia. However , what Jesus Christ had done is worth reading, I think. So,it is enough for me to read only New Testament as for everyday-reading-out. さらに良いのは、英語文法を伝統的にきちんと守るイギリス英語のようです。米語より安心できそうです。経済俗説のゼロ円商法の勝利(=間口を広げて集客してリピーターを獲得)というのに似ているのかな、と思いましたが、逆に、布教や教育における平等主義の偽装宣伝という超世俗の話も思い出してしまいました。表紙の色のせいかな? イエスのめざした「貨幣価値のしくみ以外の霊誘導(=Ceazor's thing to Ceazer )」という観点からすれば、今回のことで、現代の政治集団の常套句になっている「教育の平等」や「機会均等のための予算」が必要だとは、決して言ってはいけない気がします。霊による選択的布教の方が、圧倒的に効率的だからです。

È un bel libro, il carattere è leggibile, le pagine non sono estremamente sottili, sembra un libro normale in mano, allo stesso tempo molto leggere. Poi certo quello che è più importante è il contenuto. La New Internation Version è sempre una delle traduzioni migliori secondo me. Consiglio a tutti quelli che si avvicinano per la prima volta alla Bibbia!
