Trick Or Treat Studios Halloween 2018 Michael Myers Mask

Every year I put a life sized Michael Myers in front of my house and have a whole Halloween theme. The mask on the right is the one that I have been using for the past couple of years. It’s ok and people like it but it’s just NOT right. Didn’t realize how bad it was until I compared it to this one haha I came across this one and OMG I’m so glad that I ordered it. It’s perfect for what I need it for! I did try it on and it’s WAY too tight and uncomfortable. That won’t matter to my mannequin haha. It’s small on me and I am a female with I would say an average sized head. I think that it would fit a child ok. So overall… PROS: excellent mask, creepy, GREAT detail, actually looks just like Michael Myers. CONS: super small and tight for an adult to actually wear for an extended period of time PERFECT FOR: Display, life sized Michael Myers decor, kids costume

Mask fits great and wraps perfectly around my eyes. I scared a kid to the point where I had to remove it. For some reason, even with the mask off, he kept screaming. Not sure if it's the mask doing all that.

First off, I own other Michael Myers masks, so I have a bit of prior knowledge....I ordered this mask with such high hopes, because all my other masks were perfect! They were amazing quality! Looked great! Fit great! Etc! BUT it all ended when I received this one in the mail...this mask looks like something you’d find for a 1/4 of the price you pay. The latex of the mask is paper thin...barely can even stand up before concaving into itself. The paint on the mask is TERRIBLE! It looks like someone took a black crayon and scribbled all over the mask! It doesn’t look distressed, like it suppose too, but rather just a horrible paint job that took someone maybe 3 minutes to do. AWFUL!! Now onto the size! All my other Myers masks fit with room to spare! This one is so tight!! It’s crazy! It’s VERRRRY small!! And the absolute WORST thing about this mask...the cut in the mouth...there is a slice in the latex in between the lips! It leaves such an opening that makes it look embarrassingly stupid!! if the mask is slightly small on your head, the mouth stretches open about half an inch. LOOKS SO STUPID!!! Save yourself money and time. DO NOT BUY THIS MASK! (Also, if you’re skeptical, it will look NOTHING like the photograph in the listing)

For anybody who doesn’t know, this mask is cast in the same mold which was used for the 2018 movie screen-used mask. TOT studios bought the mold, and made these masks. They’re about $100 from their site, but $60 (as of right now) on amazon as a prime item, which is a steal in my book. I know some people seem to have received the wrong mask, which is unfortunate. Luckily it’s a prime item, hopefully meaning you can get a refund, or the correct mask shipped to you. I received the right one, and I couldn’t be happier with it. The tag even gives credit to the people who created the original sculpt for the mask used in the movie, which is really really cool. I’m surprised this doesn’t come with a certificate of authenticity or anything, considering it’s 100% the movie mold. As soon a so took it out of the box, it popped right up into shape. It was not distorted at all in any way, to my surprise. It’s made out of super high quality durable latex. However, some of the hair does fall right out, but that’s just because there are a lot of unglued hairs tangled in with glued pieces. Once you style it with a little water, it’ll all come right out and will no longer be an issue. If you don’t do this, the mask will constantly shed, because it seems the loose hairs are meant to be taken out. Some people seem to dislike the paint job or the hair, but honestly, I think it looks pretty perfect. I’d give this 4.99999 stars out of 5, just because of the little hair thing, which no longer even bothers me.

Before I say anything else, let me say that this is indeed a legit Trick or Treat Studios mask, and the overall quality is excellent, especially considering the price point. This mask was cast using the master mold from the 2018 film, and it shows - there's tons of age and distressed wear sculpted I to the mask, and the paint applications are quite nice, too. Though with that said, I'll probably and a dark wash myself to bring out more details and to shade the eyes a bit more. The hair isn't rooted (not a surprise at this price), but it is glued and layered, which gives it depth and a nice, full look. I do recommend either running a wide tooth comb through the hair or using your fingers to remove the excess hair before wearing, that way you wont shed all over the place. One word of warning: this mask is definitely a snug fit. My head measures 23.5 inches around, and the mask fits, but only just - I had to trim about 2mm from around the eyeholes to relieve pressure against my eyelids. So be sure to measure the circumference of your head prior to ordering if you plan to wear this mask, and if you have a big noggin' like me, be prepared to heat it up gently with a hair dryer to give it some stretch prior to wearing. Overall this is a great mask, and one I'm glad to have in my collection. I'm giving it 4/5 stars simply due to it being slightly small, but if the size isn't a concern for you, it's deserving of a full 5 stars.

Killer Mask (Ha) wore this for Halloween while trick or treating with my family. The detail on the mask is awesome and fit my head well. Easy with the hair dont tug on it or you'll probably yank it out of its spot. I stored it in the back seat of my car for a bit and it messed up the front of the hairline a bit by getting covered by whatever I tossed back there. Nothing some proper adjusting wont fix

I tried it on an since it fits really snug all the features formed to my skin. I found out it made my hearing aids scream and at first I thought the mask came with cool side effects. Excellent packaging, no smell at all, fits me snug with 7 1/2" head. Material seems very durable but I remove it carefully, very comfortable but I got sweaty after 20 minutes because it is snug. That heightened the experience even more. The asplund tree guys were next door and they put their climbing gear on fast!!! Lol Great price and fast shipping. Highly recommend!!! Can't wait to use it for my stand up comedy nights and upcoming YouTube videos. Anyone want to swim? I will be waiting. Killing you with kindness!!! Michael Meyers

The quality in details and texturing on the mask are truly movie quality. I honestly had the most fun with the first costume I bought in a decade wearing this mask. I had members of my community scared and entertained when I paired with with a prop knife, some Dickies coveralls, and fake blood from Party City (and black eye makeup for around my eyes like Batman) There were however some issues. The only ventilation in the mask comes from the nose holes and eye holes and the flap near your neck at the bottom. It is wholly latex and so gets very hot very fast. There were also no sizing options, so when I did receieve my mask I found it slightly too small for my head, this made putting it on and taking it off extra difficult as heat and humidity built up. I even had to commit the cardinal sin of trimming my beard down to make it work! The sizing issue also prompted me to regularly grab at the flap near the neck to refit the mask if it shifted on my face, which ended up causing the mask to tear at the mouth/lips. Some clever duct taping fixed it and the slight damage actually made the mask look as good or better than before. If I had to rate this mask I'd say it's a 6.5/10. It would be higher because it really is a very detailed mask for the cost, but the sizing and comfort issues really hold it back from its full potential.

Una mascara muy buena y de buena calidad pero no es igual a la de la pelicula ya que los colores que tiene se ven muy diferentes ademas de que tiene muchas lineas y parece muy diferente, la mascara es como la de la pelicula pero el problema de todo esto es la pintura que esta mascara tiene pero se puede arreglar , le iba a dar 4 estrellas pero despues de todo esta mascara tiene solucion es volver a pintarla hasta que quede igual a la que tenia Michael Myers en la película, es un poco complicado pero se puede hacer.
