Sound quality is amazing and an overall great headphone but they feel a lot tighter than the XM4, those used to be a lot more comfy for long periods of time.

As someone who has owned both the XM4 and XM5 models, I can say the XM6 is the update I've been waiting for. Sony fixed the main frustrations from the previous version and made it much more practical. Easier to Pack and Carry The folding design is back. While the previous version looked great, it was bulky to pack. The new magnetic case is also a great touch, it snaps shut easily and is much handier for those of us who actually keep our headphones protected. It's perfect for travel Better Device Switching & Charging Switching between your phone and laptop is finally smooth. You can now manually choose which device is playing the sound, so you don't have to worry about the headphones getting confused between two sources. A massive improvement is the ability to charge while the headphones are on. You can charge the battery without being disconnected from your devices, which gets you back in action easily without the usual downtime. NC & Sound Quality: : It does a better job of cutting out background voices and airplane engines than the XM5. The music is clear and powerful without feeling muffled.

Very comfortable. No fatigue or head/ear pain even after several hours. ANC is strong; I've used them at home with a blisy window a/c, and at work in a shared office space. Sound quality is clear, the controls are easy to use, and the mobile app on iOS and Android is easy to use to change advanced configuration. They charge by USB-C fairly quickly (I haven't timed it – I usually leave it overnight). They can connect to two devices simultaneously. I've found this to be fairly good. Occasionally when connected to a phone and a computer ar the same time the sound has started breaking a bit till I disconnect one, but this might be a Bluetooth interference issue and not a headphone-spwcific one. It has something called 360 Reality Audio, for which it needs to go through a setup process to create an individual sound profile. It's supposed to be able to give you a much more immersive dynamic experience. However, I was unable to complete the setup. It involves playing two sounds and asking you to answer a question about the two sounds. Then another two sounds and another question, etc. Maybe my ears don't work or something, but when it asks me which of the sounds I hear as if it is directly in front of me at eye level, my answer is neither – they both sound identical and as if they are in my ears. I'm not being facetious or obtuse – as hard as I try, I cannot imagine that the sounds are in front of me. Nonetheless, aside from such gimmicks, these are really great headphones.

Best noice cancellation there is... With best fit and comfort for longer usage... I sometimes use 3-4 hours straight with little to no fatigue...

These Sony headphones are the best in their class and price range. A little bit pricey but totally worth it in my opinion. They are very comfortable to wear. I read reviews here before I purchased these headphones and I was on the fence whether to buy them or not as reviewers were complaining about how they are not comfortable at all for long time use but I can confidently say this that they are absolutely comfortable to wear for a very long time as I use these headphones mainly for gaming and music. I use these for hours and I don't feel any discomfort at all. They are lightweight and not cheaply made. I don't know maybe it depends on the shape and size of the ears? And now the sound: All I can say is that I just LOVE the way they sound they are absolutely amazing! I am an audiophile and i can say that they truly have High quality immersive sound that makes you feel like you are a part of the game or music you're playing. I use these on my xbox series x with dolby atmos enabled and it makes everything come alive. The ANC and ambient sound modes are spot on as well. I could make a very long review by saying more positive things about them but it's better to find out yourself. So ya I'm absolutely happy with this purchase. Great job sony, keep making things better. I 💯 recommend these headphones!

- great sound cancellation - high quality audio - can connect to multiple devices and interchange between them easily instead of having to disconnect then connect to the other device - comfortable in comparison with other major headphones in the market - look and feel is beautiful - the case is sturdy and protects the headphones very well - has many features and can be heavily customized - giving it a 4/5 because after 30 mins or so, my head starts hurting from the top of the headphones pushing too hard. But this is something I usually feel when wearing headphones anyway. I think the padding can be a little more comfortable though.
