Ghostbusters: P.K.E. Meter (RP Minis)

This thing is pretty cool. Makes great sounds and lights up. It is a bit fragile so don't expect it to last too long with a 3 yr old! Great for collectors out there or someone that is into Ghostbusters and wants a cool piece for their desk or mancave

It's a really nice Mini P.K.E meter. I'm so suprised many people thougth this was a Life sized prop read the description guys please. That aside I ordered this P.K.E meter because I just thought it was really cute looking and I ordered it. When it arrived I was super charmed by it and I really love the sticker book it comes in its really cool addition. I'm very happy with my Mini P.K.E meter it's a really fun small prop it has ligths and sounds and it's really nice for my collection overall a great small product.

The box arrived undamaged and the device was only packed in clear plastic inside and could easily move around/break during shipping. After removing the mini PKE Meter and pulling the plastic battery tab on the back, it refused to light up or make any sound. Once I removed the back battery cover and removed the batteries, they had a chalky film around them but no other issues. I verified with a multimeter that all three batteries had the correct voltage. Once cleaned and reinstalled, the mini PKE worked flawlessly and without issue. NOTE: The back button extends the ears and the front button has 2 "on" modes and "off". I currently have this on display until I can transfer the electronics to a life sized PKE Meter.

This mini was perfect for my3 year old grandsons hands.He continuously is searching through the house for ghost.Works well has flashing lights and even makes detection noise.Great little toy!

I've bought a bunch of the RP Minis before, my kids love them. I've never had any issues at all, but this one didn't work and I bought new batteries for it, but when I unscrewed the battery compartment the inside is all corroded and it doesnt work even with the new batteries.

I must have received a returned or used product because when I opened the Amazon package, the product seel was opened and there was not a tab to remove from the battery section like the directions tell you to. When I pushed the button for the lights it did not work. So now I have to spend more money and replace the batteries before I give my son his gift and hopefully once I replace the batteries it will work.

What a fun little gadget. It’s so cool. I really wish it had a keychain feature or a way to add a keychain because I would carry it all the time. Please make more of these Ghostbusters gadgets. Mattel made such a poor business decision to completely botch the launch of Ghostbusters products that I’m glad to see a company take good steps to sell a cheap prop replica that everyone can buy. Not some “limited edition” product that gets gobbled up by resellers and sold on eBay. Your company and Spirit Halloween got it figured out.

Doesn’t work. I also wouldn’t have bought it if I would’ve realized it was. MINI. No lights. No sound. :( my son is going to be so disappointed.
