Is the stacking sleeve made out of plastic or cardboard? How sturdy is it?

It is a cardboard piece of junk. It broke on the first day we were playing the game. Even before it broke it didn't work as good as the old plastic ones did that came with the set we had years ago.

How do we make the tower, before we start the game? Does it have a case to make the tower?

What I did to make my version of the sleeve... I laminated an empty laminating sheet and folded it lengthwise then cut excess to match the size of the blocks and the height of the tower...

is this manufactured by Hasbro?

Nowhere on the box does it reference Hasbro.

Does it come with a carrying case to store and carry?

Sorry, no carrying case. Just the box it comes in.
