It's definitely not 'mind over matter'. I feel a difference when using this if I'm experiencing pain and helps to reduce discomfort. I like that it includes other helpful ingredients. It's a little bit sticky at first, but it seems to dissipate as it's absorbed into the skin. I'm very sensitive to scents and smells and this does have a smell, but it is mild and also dissipates after awhile. It has that kind menthol rub smell, but not excessively so. If it's an 'inflammation attack' so to speak, it has to be approached with healing from the inside as well. I take a Turmeric/Boswelia/Tart Cherry formula I buy on Amazon and Gaia Turmeric Supreme 3x/day and I usually experience a noticeable reduction of pain in 2 to 3 days. This topical cream starts helping much faster because it goes right into the skin.

Years ago a well known horse Veterinary doctor told my father about DMSO because he had a very sore leg. He told my father that it helped many horses over his years of practice and he used it himself when he had a pain in his hand. It helped him so he started using it when he had muscle pains. My father tried it and it worked for him too so it has been something my family has used for years. It absorbs into the muscle is what that Vet said and I have used it on sore muscles many times. Sometimes I grind up a little bit of aspirin and mix it with the DMSO and it seems to work even quicker. But I say discuss it with you doctor first as I am certainly not a doctor. All I can say is it works for me....

Rubs on easy. Great pain cream. No strong odor. It doesn't make you all hot then cold like some other pain creams. We like the packageing. I'm able to access all the ointment to use it. Unlike some tubes you can;t get it all out. It works quickly, after appling, in helping relieve our pain.Will purchase again. I didn't give it 5 stars because the Label needs to be more clear on listing the ingredients.

It works really well. I rub it on my lower back and the pain goes away for quite awhile. It has a slight analgesic smell to it but feels really good on my skin. Not greasy at all. I think it’s ever bit as good as most pain creams.

This is by far the BEST pain cream I have ever found.

It didn't seem to help much. I have osteoarthritis in my shoulder and knees and I have better luck with Diclofenac.

I love this tub of cream. I put it on my hands, specifically pinkies. It really helps. One area of pain is gone after one treatment, but fingers are nasty little buggars. This smells so good, very creamy and moisturizing. It makes my hands soft.
