Brilliant cool box accessories, stay frozen for days not just an afternoon, well worth the money

Worked a treat

I bought these as reviews were positive and being made in the USA, possibly the cooler capital of the world, I thought the premium price was worthwhile. Unfortunately it appears that these are now manufactured in China, along with a myriad of alternatives, so the cost seems harder to justify.

A little difficult to fill initially, but work well.

I did exactly what the instructions said, I measured the water and even weighed it, to the ml, froze the 3 packs at -18 for 3 days, took one out, placed it in my Makita cool box for work in the afternoon, next morning, I was staggered it wasn’t even frozen no more! Not even 15 hours out of it, my old block packs do twice that and cost next to nothing. Another lot of Chinese junk. Returned!

It is no better than the other ice packs

Pack of three arrived folded in half. Innermost pack must have been under pressure / weight in storage because as soon as I added water per the instructions the hairline crack in the skin where the item had been folded began to seep. Disappointing no option to replace, only refund via a labour intensive returns system.

These ice packs work great over foil buffet pans/lay flat and stay cold for at least 24 hrs. Love them!

The cooler bag has a design flaw in that the edges close to the spout or opening are very sharp and a sharp edge cut my arl when I was carrying it. The cooling agent may be effective, but the overall product does not work well if it cannot be handled safely!

For months, we received food from Blue Apron and I was always amazed by the gel ice packs they used. They kept everything cold for days and were always frozen when they arrived via UPS. I put them in the freezer and used them again for travel, etc. The only downside was that they were fragile and would spring a leak. Could there be something as good but permanent - something that could be used over and over without leaking? YES there is and this product is it! You put the right amount of water in, squeeze all of the excess air out, put in the stopper, screw on the cap, let it form a gel (20 minutes) and put it in the freezer. It takes a while to completely freeze but it works great once frozen. The Great Customer Service comes in when you mess up and need an extra stopper. I made a request for an extra stopper because too much air was left in a bag and removing the stopper can be destructive. They provided an extra stopper by replacing my bag - over and beyond what was necessary. As I use these for a few more months, I’ll add comments if needed.

2022年4月 Lサイズ3個セットを￥6,000-で購入。 メリットですが、保冷剤としては非常に性能がよく、よく冷え持続時間も長いと感じました。 次にデメリットというか、少し使いづらいと感じたとことです。 固いケースに入ったハードタイプではなく、ソフトタイプなので凍らせるときに歪んでいるとそのままの形状で凍ってしまい少し使いづらい。Lタイプなので場所を取るが、冷凍庫の中にある程度の広さの平らなスペースが必要。色々冷凍食品なんかが入っていると凍らせにくかったです。 あと、製品表面がつるつるで、Lサイズだと重さも有り持ちにくい。1年半くらいのあいだに、キャンプ中に製品を落としてしまい3個中の2個、袋に小さな穴が空いてしまい使えなくなりました。 性能には非常に満足でしたが、次はハードタイプを買おうと思います。
