For our 6+ kid with seasonal sniffles, cetirizine covers the day the way the brand promises when you follow the label. Versus adult swallow tablets, the dissolvable form is just easier on school mornings and travel. Versus "natural" allergy gummies we tried, this actually moved the needle on itchy eyes/runny nose. Taste is citrus-medicine—not candy. One kid shrugged; another needs a water chase. Possible drowsiness is on the label, so we learned evening dosing works better for our house.
