Have been using for more than a year. No complaints. Easy installation. Very useful as it saves lots of electricity as we tend to switch off the lights. Very Good quality as I have installed outdoors in rain and sun.

Product quality is good, easy to install and configure, but it’s extremely sensitive to even the light from the bulb, it just keeps automatically switching on and off, I had to wrap two sides with cardboard so that it stays on after dark, a dial to adjust the sensitivity could have been given to adjust the levels of sensitivity.

Does what it says. I've used it for a few months now, and even though one has stopped working but it was the electricians fault as he had it fixed upside down which caused water to get in it. The sensitivity could have been better as the light gets switched on around an hour before it's needed and switches off a little late too but still worth it at this price. I'd recommend it.

This item came a day early. I am very happy with the service and the product. It came with a help book on how to install and all the circuit information. It works really well, I installed a couple of them last year and they still work fine, I expect the same from these two because the manufacturer is same. Packaging was well and neat. The build quality is awesome and it is indeed value for money. I order 5 pieces combo and the discount margin was more than satisfactory. Your search for photocell ends here.

Have used this sensor in my parking lot so that it turns on the common lighting system when it gets dark and automatically turns off when it gets daylight. Much to my astonishment the packing was neat and clean and 5 such devices for less than 1000 is a real value for money. Did go through the circuit and the components used and I am much impressd. Not sure of its durability if I am going to use it for exterior light as the Sun is pretty hard on plastic objects in Chennai. But sure the product will last long if used in non sunny areas. Just the manual could have been more detailed for a non technical person... net net a very excellent product.

Works well. But light sensitive is bad. The light have to be very bright for it to switch off

I solved the following issue by putting a small DIY shade separator between the light and the Blackt sensor. The light was blinking due to looping issue, switching on the light when it is dark, but switching off when the light from the LED bulb / tubelight falls on the sensor. The company should provide the shade separator alongwith the sensor. It's been one year now, all the five sensors are working absolutely fine, even withstood the full fury of direct rains. My previous review: Bought 5 Blackt Electrotech BT31P2, all the lights connected to them are just blinking. Eventually I just switched off all the lights. Can the seller fix it, else refund my money. Since the all the Blackt Electrotech BT31P2 are already installed, it is not an option to dismount them.
