Just perfect with details and pictures. I have already 4 of them from all the different cities and I will definitively buy another when planning to go to discover new city. Definitely recommend, quick read, small and includes map of the city center. Review: A good little book - Just got back from Dubai. I must admit, without the book, we would've been quite bored and would've spent a lot more money. It was very accurate, saved us some money and helped give us a good bearing on what to do, where and when. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating is because it would've been even better if the maps could've been a bit more detailed. At least then we wouldn't have attempted to walk to places that look soo close on the map when in fact, you needed a car.

This proved to be a really useful guide. It offered advice and tips on everything from culture to taxis. I'm glad I purchased this prior to travelling.

Very Useful
This perfect sized guide to Dubai is very good, including a pull out map at the back. It gives clear and informative details about each region, plus near by places like Abu Dhabi. It also helps with custom do's and don'ts in this more liberal but still strict muslim country. Though pocket/small bag size it is bit on information. I highly recommend it to any traveller to Dubai.

A good mini guide - includes Abu Dhabi
This is a good little pocket guide for Dubai and includes some information on Abu Dhabi also. Most of the essential information on hotels restaurants and attractions is included. Photos are disappointing on the black and white Kindle and the guide is better used on smart phones and ipads (Kindle apps). Hyperlinks are included and links to Google maps also - these will not work on a Kindle. The included maps are rather too small to be useful but again on a smart phone of pad one can zoom in on them making them rather more functional. On a smart phone it truly is a "pocket" guide.

Perfect for travel to Dubai
My wife and I used this book when we went to Dubai for 5 days. The book has a fold-able map along with clearly marked areas in Dubai. The book specifies what the top tourist attractions are and has a lot of pictures so that you can see what the attraction looks like before you plan on seeing it. The book is small enough to fit in your pocket but has a lot of content to make sure you are aware of the different areas of Dubai and the top attractions in those areas.

informative, dependable
I ordered this book the week before I was scheduled to go to Dubai. It arrived in plenty of time for me to read through and find the places I wanted to tour while there. It had a pretty good pull-out map, as well as smaller local maps in each chapter section. The small size fit perfectly in my purse and was inconspicuous to refer to while out. The specific restaurants, galleries, stores, etc were hard to find, and not exactly as represented. For example, I went to the Jumeirah Mosque, which did charge a small entry fee, though the book said it was free. It was very well worth the small charge though, informative and interesting. The book recommended an art museum across from the Mosque, which turned out to be a small sales gallery with about 3 rooms in a strip mall, with none of the artists the book mentioned. They did have some local Iranian art which was very interesting, so it wasn't a total waste of time, but it wasn't as big a deal as I expected. Info about transportation was accurate, as well as info on the various souks. It was a good book to have, as I was a female touring the city alone, it helped me feel confident in where I was going.
