Best yeast ever!
I usually buy red star brand yeast but since they are sold out everywhere because of the Virus, I had to buy Gefen brand. I will never buy the other brand again! This yeast is better tasting, much much better rising and just superior in every single way. I am so happy that I couldn't find the other one now. You've got a new lifetime customer with me.

I love making challah, it’s my super power. 😊Using Gefen yeast, I’m guaranteed perfect results every time. With faster proofing time and lighter bread, this is the only yeast I’ll use now.

I make our bread and this is the best deal for yeast that I have found. After I open a bag, I put the rest in a glass mason jar and put it in the freezer. It keeps very well there.

Batch I got is only consistently good for first rise.
I've baked so much bread over the years, and I really enjoy the flavor of bread that has two rises: 1. one rise, followed by 2. a second rise, then shaped and baked. This yeast is so vigorous on the first rise, but on the second rise, it really doesn't work quite adequately. The bread only gets halfway where it should go.
