Great mouse and doesn't need a dongle
The mouse arrived the next day as ordered in a bubble wrap amazon envelope that contained the mouse in its box along with an instruction leaflet. I got this to replace my 2.4Ghz wireless mouse that required a USB transmitter / receiver that takes up a USB port on my laptop that I wanted to free up. The mouse requires two AAA batteries that are not provided with the product but luckily I had to hand (my previous wireless mouse took a single AA battery so I couldn’t reuse it in this). The mouse is easy to pair, just enable search on your laptop or device and press the little recessed button on the bottom of the mouse and away it goes. There are the usual mouse buttons and wheel with a button behind the mouse wheel that cycles through the DPI settings. The mouse has a maximum 2600 DPI resolution. My last mouse had a maximum 4800 DPI resolution which I never used as it was far too sensitive for me and I wondered whether I’d miss it; but I’ve found 2600 DPI is as much as I need, and to be honest is easier to set, as you have less cycling through to get back to if you overshoot the DPI button presses. The mouse is comfortable to use and the buttons are perfectly placed for my smallish hands (if you have giant hands then it may be a bit small). Also the mouse glides well on the desk surface I’m using it on which other mice can sometimes drag a little, but maybe this is because it’s new and hasn’t picked up any of the daily grime yet (or my surface cleaning has improved). There is a battery indicator on the left side of the mouse that I believe lights up red when you need to replace the batteries (I’m hoping that they last as long as my wireless mouse which I’ve had for about 4 months and haven’t had to replace them yet). There is an on/off sliding switch on the bottom of the mouse that you can use to turn off the mouse when not in use for longer periods. When turning on the mouse it connects to my laptop instantly with no delay as you’d expect. I’d definitely recommend this as it frees up a USB port and if using a laptop you don’t have the worry about damaging your laptop ports by catching the USB receiver of 2.4G mouse when putting it in your laptop bag (highly unlikely but something I’m always worried about).

Don't know much about DPI but love the "back" button
I can be a bit of a tecnophobe when folks start talking about DPI on a mouse - it's a mouse!. You move it, you click it and if you're lucky it works. I've managed to get through quite a few of these pesky little things over the past couple of years. Some I've thrown out because they unresponsive or just plain hang then dissappear. Want I wanted was a mouse that pointed where I wanted - didn't jump off the target when I got there or ate batteries like they were going out of fashion. I have found one! The plus is the nifty button on the side that up can usse instead of the back button on the web page - brilliant! There's another button but honestly I don't know what that's for and one on top - again not quite sure what that's for either! maybe one day I'll read the instructions that came with it. I think my only gripe - and we all love a bit of a moan - is the sleep function - It snoozes - good on battery - but a pain because it no longer wakes up the computer and horror of horrors I have to press the escape button on the keyboard to get going again - I know, I'm picky. But leaving all that asside - It feels good - ergonomically of course. It points where I want, without argument, it stays put until I click it - a nice satisfying decisive sound and I can go back to previous page with a flick of the thumb. Get one - try it you'll love it. OK Here I am April 2024 - Update to review. States that batteries last 24 months - I think this should read 2.4 months because that's how long they last in mine. Shame because it's still a good mouse just too heavy on batteries.

Excellent Product, Excellent Customer service in light of a unit failure.
I am giving this product and company great review! It should be a 5/5 however I was unluck to recieve a very rare defectibe build. But there belies the reason to buy from this company. I am giving this a 4 only because my own product failed after 6 months. The rubber grip that covers the mouswheel stretched a little with use, became slack and then just span around the wheel and not register any movement. I contacted TEKNET about it and very quickly they realised the problem and offered me a replacement with no quarms. Unfortunately they could not get the same colour, and was happy to give me a full refund instead. If they had the same colour instick I would have preferred that instead of the refund. In fact I am going to wait until they have it in black again, and then just buy it again from the same place. This mouse is beautiful, looks brilliant, works smooth;y and a joy to use, no problems connecting. If there are an item specific issue, the company will support you promptly.

A very comfortable mouse to use
TeckNet 2600DPI Adjustable Bluetooth Mouse This mouse is quite small, I have large hands and don't normally get on with small mice. But this one fits into my hand nicely and is comfortable to use. It appears to be quite sturdy and well built, it has a rubber thumb pad built into the left side of the mouse which may explain why I find it so comfortable to use as the thumb plays a big part in directing the mouse around. This thumb pad has small indents on the surface which help the thumb grip the mouse. The mouse has six buttons which are - left, right, scroll wheel, backwards and forwards along with a DPi switch on top just behind the scroll wheel. To the front of the thumb pad is a small LED which will light up as an indicator that the batteries are getting low, which shouldn't light too often as it's claimed battery life is up to 24 months which I guess will depend on the quality of battery used. The battery requirements are two AAA sized batteries (not included). As mentioned above this has a DPi switch, the DPi settings available are - 2600, 2000, 1600, 1200 and 800. So if you prefer your mouse cursor to fly across the screen as fast as possible then select the highest setting of 2600 DPi. If you require a slow cursor speed which is useful for fine detail work like photo editing then set it to 800 Dpi which is the lowest this mouse supports. Personally I prefer a DPI of around 2000. In use I had no problem with pairing this up with my Windows 10 laptop. The mouse is a joy to use, it fits nicely into the hand and glides smoothly across my mouse mat. The cursor glides across my screen without any hint of skipping or jitter, at the lowest DPi setting I found the mouse to be very smooth indeed. The buttons give a positive click with the slightest of presses, there is a clicking sound but it's no more than other mice that I've used so shouldn't become a nuisance to others in the same room. The scroll wheel grips well even with the lightest of pressure. There is a very slight notched feel to the scroll wheel when scrolling which helps keep everything smooth and under control when browsing pages. I am impressed with this mouse, it's so comfortable to use in my large hands. It does all that I want plus it's Blue-tooth so no nano receivers taking up a valuable USB slot - Highly recommended! Box Contents 1X Blue-tooth mouse 1X Welcome Guide/User manual 1X Warranty card If you have found my review at all helpful I would very much appreciate you clicking the 'Helpful' button below, thank you.

Got built in bluetooth?
I have a laptop, most people do, and it has a god awful touch pad, again, most do and I hate it! I always use a normal mouse but this comes at the expense of a USB port. Some laptops have only 3 ports, mine has 6! BUT I am a bit fussy when it comes to a portable device being left with a USB device plugged in (i.e a USB dongle for wireless mouse) as it could get caught or damaged so I have to remember to take it out and store it safe. However, being a human and a man I forget or take it out but dont store it in the mouse and end up having to use the touchpad! Then I thought 'My laptop has bluetooth which is always getting used - NEVER!!! so it was brainwave time! Saw this mouse for £6.99 and gave it a try! Works perfectly, battery life is great, its comfortable and has extra buttons! It also has a variable DPI button on the top so you control how fast your mouse pointer flies round the screen!!! A great Mouse at a great price. Remember, you will need built in bluetooth!! If you liked my review, hit the helped button!!

Nice mouse - but stopped working altogether after a few hours
Mouse turned up today and apart from having no batteries all went well. It connected easily to the PC (Win10 o/s) and worked immediately --> SEE BELOW FOR TOTAL FAILURE - The mouse cursor moves at a convenient speed across the screen - which is just as well, since the DPI button seems to have absolutely no effect whatsoever. I have tried repeatedly, but cannot get any change in mouse cursor movement speed. Then there are two buttons on the side described as Forward and Backward buttons in the diagram - but no explanation is given as to what they are suppoed to do. I have tried them out - but like the DPI button, they seem to have absolutely no effect whatsoever. - It's a pity about the DPI button (I can't be bothered returning it for that) as I thought that for certain tasks, being able to slow down the cursor movement speed would be useful. C'est la vie..... - But after a few hours of working well, it suddenly stopped working. No matter what I try it will not reconnect to the PC. Other bluetooth devices still attached and working fine. "Lights on but no-one at home" it the status of the mouse that is now a paperweight. Return to sender is order of the day !.....

A great mouse for a mouse.
This mouse has very good bluetooth connectivity, it is a good value for money and it clicks very well, has an ergonomic design, and is very easy to use. The design of the mouse is also very nice, and feels modern. However, the size of this mouse is so small! it is as if it were designed to be used by a mouse! when I place my hand on top of the mouse, the entire thing disappears underneath it! But it still functions despite its small size, and can be used for mobile devices.

Well made Bluetooth Mouse, Works Great and Comfortable
In the box is the Bluetooth mouse, an instruction manual in German, English, French & Spanish, and warranty card. The 2 x AAA batteries this requires are not included. The Bluetooth mouse is easy to connect, simply ensure you have working 2 x AAA batteries installed and switch on using the switch on the underside of the mouse. Press the pairing button for 2-3 seconds and the LED indicator will flash. Find BM307 on Windows PC and click pair. It takes only a couple of seconds for the Bluetooth mouse to work. Being Bluetooth means that I don't have to connect a receiver to my desktop or laptop for this to work. The builtin desktop and laptop Bluetooth will automatically connect to this mouse after being paired. This mouse has a low battery indicator which lights up when the battery needs replacing. The mouse claims to have a long 2 year battery life by using Intelligent Power Saving, which automatically switches the power down when not in use. I suppose using the manual off switch will make the battery last even longer but that is yet to been seen. It has 2600 DPI support, with 1200 DPI as default. The button at the top makes it easy to switch to other DPI settings. On the side are back and forward buttons which I found handy whilst browsing the web in the web browser. Ergonomically the mouse is very comfortable. The build quality is excellent, I don't even have to look at the mouse to feel that this is well built, it feels good on the hand. The scroll wheel has a nice grip and is easy to scroll and the click of the mouse button is satisfying. At this price I can easily highly recommend this mouse. I have a TECKNET keyboard which is also excellent and my impression of the TECKNET brand has been high quality. This mouse definitely matches my TECKNET keyboard in quality.

No batterie ricaricabili
