Though the cost of good Stuffing material can be quite high, Wool itself is still thankfully available fairly cheaply. I am aware that if I make these Toys for young Children I had better remember Not to use fancy Eye-pierces, but to just Formulate a black knot for the eyes, so there will not be any potential choking or swallowing issues. Great, Accurate, Simple Instructions
This is an Excellent book, as are All those by Jean Greenhow. She writes the Instructions Accurately, in a way anyone who knows how to Knit and Purl can follow. I can see times ahead, and even now, when Local Children will be very grateful for and happier with these Knitted Toys. I have already made some of them, and Plan to make more. A good book
I purchased this book in the first instance many years ago, then gave it away. Big mistake. However I was delighted to be able to buy it on line from Amazon. It is without doubt one of the best books I have had for knitted toys, and I have made a lot in my time. Easy to follow, plenty of choice and a joy to knit. The book I have now3 is of course, secondhand. The condition was extremely good, it had been well looked after. I am very very pleased all round.
