I purchased these almost five years ago and they still work great! Easy to connect and they're obviously durable if they eve made it this long. They're currently shining strong through almost two feet of snow.

I purchased these lights to accentuate the front of our two-story, brick home. I placed one at the end of the house and then between each window, skipping the front porch. The power of the light is strong enough to accentuate up to the second floor, making our home look so good at night. Definitely a good purchase.

Lights function nicely, are bright enough without being distracting, and importantly, pretty easy to self install and maintain. Customer Service and Responsiveness of Company Representatives are INCREDIBLE. They immediately addressed an isolated product issue to my 110% satisfaction, with a timely replacement. For 5+ years, I’ve have 4 separate landscape light setups and 30+ lights running. I love companies that stand behind their product and sellers that respond to customer issues.

These lights are compact and very bright. The fixture itself is made of durable aluminum and should hold up well over time. The brackets that attach the fixture to the stake are very thin metal. When you're pushing the fixture into the ground, you have to push down on the stake, not the fixture. Otherwise, the bracket will bend easily. People who complain about this detail should, instead, be shopping for much more expensive lights that come with cast aluminum brackets. Those are about 5x more expensive than these. Also, these lights do not come with the pins that let you tie into the 12v power wire quickly. So, you have two options. You can manually splice them into the power wire or you can spend a few dollars and order the pins separately here on Amazon. Again, these lights are very inexpensive, so the cost-cutting has to come from somewhere. Regardless, they are a good value.

I have had these spotlights as well as the 3 watt landscape lights. Very happy with the look and performance as they make our landscape look great at night. One recently stopped working and a replacement was quickly sent! Great customer service!

Updated 20+ year old lighting on my home. Kept the original large transformer that I installed in the basement. 8 of these lights were the cost of a single original light. actual quality actually seems as good or better than the original lights. (especially how the the unit is sealed). Will see how they hold up over time. Used the well lights to light up the front of the house and the spiked version to aim up into larger trees. Definitely impressed so far.

I needed some lights for my outside trees and bushes. Didn't want to spend a ton of money so went with these. Easy to install and made of metal. Wiring clips are made of plastic so be careful when screwing on to wire as it may strip. When I was installing these, I screw in the stakes to the light bracket and planted them in the ground. The bracket is very flimsy but I figured out if I push down in the screw that holds the stake in and then push it down, it won't be a problem. Other than that, as far as I know, it seems to work and produces a nice light. Tested this and it doesn't produce 12v. More like 8v per light but light output is perfect. Time will tell if it will last. But for the money, it's worth it. This particular one doesn't come with the connectors so make sure you get some.

Bit of teardown on one, yes. Only a 7watt regulator inside (XLSEMI XL6001E1). LED Chip is marked 4P7S .. Its a 7watt LED, on a 7 watt driver. Tested one to push its limits (At the cost of expected lifespan). Light output is good, but power usage seems to stay at an even 7 Watts of power when tested with a DC source. The internal regulator keeps does an excellent job of maintaining the brightness when faced with both over and under voltage, it maintained full brightness all the way down to 8v - Regulator chip datasheet shows viable voltage range excellent for Solar and Battery operation of these lights. Its all pretty simple assembly and easy enough to upgrade and replace parts in the event any failure. Quite Thick glass protecting the front. The housing is an aluminum alloy, so best to take care with screw tightening only as much as needed. Even thermal paste under the cob that is secured by screws. its built well compared to the others of a similar type. Power cable is a curious ETL (Intertek) certified 105'C rated SVT PVC jacketed cable at 18AWG and FT2 .. This is a similar type of power cord as commonly used for a Desktop PC with an above average heat and fire resistance rating.. far more than sufficient to run such a compact light, and beyond anything required for such low voltage cable. I'm okay with the 7W, as the light output is excellent, It appears to be an quality Epistar Cob LED. This simply means I can actually put even more of them onto my 200w system. And Its an easy mod to solder a bigger chip and driver into place. Actual 12w Square Epistar COB chips are easy to find that are the same size factor., given the interior space and build quality for the price. I'm fine with this purchase.

This is the third time I have ordered Sunvie 12W landscape lights. They are the best on the market BUT thre quality of soldering in very poor. I have had tob dismantle numerous lights to re-solder the contact points.. If you don't have a way to solder stay away.

I received this item quickly and in good condition.Item was exactly as advertised.I recommend this product and will buy more in the future.
