How do i determine what size i need?

There is some "flex" in the sizing. The 1/2" has 3/8" when it is relaxed, and easily holds a thick HDMI cable, power cord, and USB 3 cable. The 1" starts at around 3/4" and can go larger than 1" - Turns out I didn't need the 1" A smaller size filled to capacity looks much neater than the next size up with space to spare.

Could I cut these to be shorter or will they fray?

If you cut it, please sear the edges with the flame from a lighter so that it will not fray.

How flexible is this cord? Can it go around a tight corner and not flex back?

It’s pretty flexible. A tight 90 degree would show a bump of some sort probably but it is great stuff and would look better than the wires going around the tight corner. As far as bounce back goes if you bent it around something and then laid it on a table it would straighten right out. It would need to be wedged in or zip tied to keep the corner in it.
